I bought these cards for language study, and they're working perfectly for my needs. They're durable and the right size and texture--I'm using markers on them, and the writing doesn't bleed through the cards at all. The variety of colors makes it easy to categorize the subjects I'm working on. The container is flimsy like a clear egg container and the closure isn't that tight, but it keeps all the cards together in one place and that's all I really need. I'd repurchase these without hesitation.

I like these flash card blanks. I have many uses for them. The assorted colors help with organization. For example, to classify the children's site words and vocabulary words with a color for each level, or to differentiate between math and spelling words, etc. We like to write the spelling and site words on the cards so we can shuffle them to try to make funny sentences. They do fit in my wallet perfectly to use as note cards for myself and to give out to others. I like the plastic box to keep the cards organized, and that the box is made from recycled materials, that's important to me. the box will enable us to keep our flashcards organized and long lasting. I make pop up cards and the colors, the weight, and the size make good cut out materials for my cards and the kids like to use them for their crafts. I find that the company has good customer service, friendly and responsive. Fast shipping. This product that works well for us.

The flash cards were a lot smaller then I thought they would be. They are of decent weight/thickness for their size. The box is why I leaned more so to buy these cards then the others I've reviewed. I thought it would be nice to keep my cards organized and stored away until i needed them. Yes it is a plastic box as described, but it opens only half way. In fact, like in my case, if you open the box to far then it will break completely. Now the box is useless and I'm stuck trying to keep multiple flash cards from going everywhere.

UPDATE: 6/2014
I first bought these in January 2014, it is now June and I have since purchased 2 more boxes, and will probably purchase more before the fall semester! The quality is outstanding! Everyone at school asks me where I got these, and every time I send them here. These have been the best investments for study materials I have found! Perfect for all biology classes, chemistry classes, and studying for the MCAT! You will not be sorry if you purchase these, they are worth it!

2nd UPDATE: 9/1/2014
The new semester has just started and I bought another 2 boxes of flash cards. These things have been my saving grace. The smaller size is perfect for me since I never use the entire 3x5 flash cards. They are a perfect size and they are a durable enough material to put in a purse! Other purchasers have said that the plastic case is of low quality, I don't find that to be a detriment to the product itself. I often put the plastic case filled with flash cards, in my purse to study and work on MORE flashcards during my long breaks between classes. The plastic case can crack, but it hasn't caused any issues. I have purchased many boxes of these flash cards (probably 5 or 6 now), and I have not had any problems with the box completely breaking, or with keeping the lid closed. I prefer this case for the price, rather than a more heavy duty case with a higher price. As for the reviewer that left one star, I have too, purchased that brand of flash cards; however, they are of much lower quality and are not the robust quality I crave in a good flash card.Read more ›

I love everything about these cards. Regular index cards are just too big. I like the color assortment with these, the box they come in, and the fact that my sharpie doesn't bleed through. I'm teaching myself Japanese so I've got these things taped all over the house. Ha. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

I like the cards because they are unlined. That lets me adjust my handwriting to how much space is available and not get writers cramp. I use a hole punch to make a corner hole, and then stick binder rings in them. Great for organizing. I like the colors because I was assigning different colors to different subjects. The one flaw in this product is that the plastic case is only a standard plastic clamshell product package with the added feature that you can open and close it. If you drop the case or it gets knocked over, there is a good chance that it will spill open and you have to pick them up. The case also doesn't allow any leeway to put something slightly different size in them. This is better than the half index card size because it lets me write more sideways with longer lines instead of having to wrap around as often.
