Pretty much everything I need for playing by myself around the house. I was immediately surprised how much snap, punch and power this thing has. I absolutely love the Black 2 x 12 setting with a touch of delay and some tremolo hooked up to my Squier Duo-Sonic. I hate pedals. They're annoying with the batteries and connectors not to mention they're expensive and I always forget to unplug them so they go dead. The Vox three has it all right at your finger tips. Although I don't like batteries I've been using this so far with only batteries and it gives me so much freedom to move it around with out any power cord. Just turn it off when not using..even if your taking a little break and the batteries will last quite a while. Most modeling amps I've tried are a bit confusing and I'm not a big fan of "presets" and this has none. Just dial in the sound and play. It's built touch with quality input jacks, knobs and general construction. although I don't play loud it can get very loud if you find yourself with someone with a bigger amp..it'll keep up to a point. I have a Fender Frontman 10G that I would practice with and sounds good but it doesn't really compare to this Vox. This things pretty cool for a hundred bucks!

I don't play guitar because I think I'm going to become a famous musician. I play music because I like it. It makes me feel good. I also play guitar because it's good physical therapy for my disabled wrist. So..... I had a cheap Telecaster....now I have this to play with. Actually kind of fun. Lots of different settings to emulate different sounds. Not too loud. Battery option so I can hump it to someplace without a plug... perhaps to the beach to see if the dolphins like slide guitar....It's..... SWELL.

4 stars only because I ordered black and got vintage, but eh no biggy. This IS the best amp u can get on a budget. Slap on a spare shoulder strap and plug in a coiled cable and rockout around the house. Bot sure how well this will work on a keyboard though.
