I looked at many different kinds of pet strollers before deciding on this one. What won me over to this particular one was that it had an unobstructed panoramic view at eye-level for the animal (almost all others had an opaque strip of fabric around the eye-level area. Other than that, everything pieces together very easily And the snaplock (Which I had my initial doubts about) closes securely. I would make this purchase all over again, and highly recommend it to others looking for the same.

Loved It But. We love the design and functionality, a great stroller. However as one other reporter we had a problem with the stitching and had to return it for a replacement. If you dog is active or digs at things this might not be the stroller for you, Our 9 month 6 lb. Maltese looked out the rear window (webbing) saw her mom pushing her, clawed at the back webbing, stitching failed, and she was out of the back door of it in less than 5 minutes. On the replacement I Gorilla Duck taped around the back window stitching on the inside seam and we will try again.

If your dog is sedentary or has excellent behavioral skills this is absolutely the stroller for you, if not the princible problem is in China (where it is made) they failed to fold double the thin fabric before they put the piping on (my wife judges sewing at county fairs).

UPDATE: Dog now 1 year old. My wife liked the stroller so much, particularly ease of use, as said we had it replaced and I then (as mentioned)and as preemptive measure reinforced the back window with tape. Simply no problems sense. It is awesome.

She is stopped constantly and ask where we purchased it and what brand is it.

What I like about this stroller is EVERYTHING except for 3 minor points.

1. The nylon is pretty thin and it stays wrinkled - the canopy could be pulled tighter which might help it, but once you fold it back it wrinkles. I have 2 other strollers (Gen7Pets Promenade and Pet Gear NV no-zip) and both use material that is heavier and doesn't wrinkle. Not a huge deal, but just one thing I noticed that could be improved.

2. The wheels - they seem to be made of foam. While they will probably be ok, I can't know for sure till I use it longer over various surfaces. Higher-end strollers use heavier solid plastic wheels (like my my Promenade).

3. Lastly, I wish it had 2 tethers inside (one on the left and one on the right) instead of one. Many people like to take 2 dogs or puppies and all you can do is add a coupler which can allow them to get tied up with each other more than if there was a separate tether.

What I love is that it's lightweight, it's very easy to see what they are doing in there inside by looking into the top and back, the no-zip canopy is a MUST and so improved over ones that zip, I love that the nylon swoops way down in front for superior visibility (the Special Edition No-Zip version does NOT do this and the whole stroller basket is tilted up), I love the easy access to the basket underneath, something that is not present (useless) on the Gen7 Promenade. On this one I can take a small folding stool and put it underneath so I can sit down at my destination if there is nowhere to sit.Read more ›

This is really a great stroller for the price. I am 6 foot tall so every once in a while my feet will kick the front bar. Sometimes the steering can pull to one side or the other if you deviate from going straight if your not paying attention. I have female friends shorter than me that do not have any problems and love pushing my cat around. My cat is 14 pounds in case you are curious when looking at the picture. Overall, I would give this five stars if I was shorter. For people that are over 6 foot tall, this may be a little uncomfortable for you.

I had been looking for a pet stroller for some time. I'm glad I waited because Pet Gear came out with a no-zip stroller. This stroller is better than I expected. It is well-built, easy to maneuver, easy to open and close, and it is a good height for me (I am 5'8"). My dog loves it. He weighs 15 pounds, and there is a lot of room for him to move around in it. Also, there is a window on top and in the back of the stroller that allows him to look at me. Now, I can take my dog to the park without him getting scared of all the traffic on the streets. Once we get to the park, I take him out and let him walk around.

Love this dog stroller. Had borrowed the same model with the zip and it was great also. However, I do not like the way the no zip folds up. You must first pull up the front part of the seat and hold it then try to push button over while twisting handle forward - all this with only one hand as the other hand has to hold the front part of the seat up. When folded, it is not compact like the zip one is. Also very awkward to unfold. Pet Gear really needs to work on this folding and unfolding function as it's really a poor design. Did have to return the first one I ordered due to a seam problem but so far (only 2 wks) no problem with replacement. My dog is a Therapy Dog and we use this stroller during all of her visits as it makes her the right height for visiting with people. Also the paw bar is really good as she uses this when we come up to people and it makes her even higher up. The storage basket holds all of the supplies we need during her visits. So if you will not be transporting -folding and unfolding the stroller as I have to do, it will be great for you. Recommend even with folding and unfolding problem. Takes patience for this function.
