The Belkin MIXIT is a great little charger, I've bought five so I can leave them everywhere I need to charge my phone or tablet. I recommenced the charger, and if I feel I ever need more, I'll probably buy another Belkin. With 2.1 Amps it works with very device I own. I don't have an Apple, but it should work fine with those if you have the proper cable.
DO NOT BUY FROM Ocean Reef Electronics though!
The one I bought from them doesn't match any of my real Belkins, isn't the proper color, didn't come in Belkin packaging, and never worked. I'm pretty sure it's a counterfeit. I would send it back but it would cost more than it's worth.

This charger works well.... it is the equivalent (from a performance and size perspective) of the charger that comes with the Apple iPad. Because of its higher output (again, for charging an iPad) it will charge your iPhone faster than the standard small white cube charger that came with your iPhone. When I tested it, it charged about 1% per minute... so if your iPhone is at 90% charge, it would be about 10 mins to get to 100% with this charger. The standard little white cube charger is about 25% slower than that in my tests.

I also noticed that this charger does not heat up as much as the Apple chargers.

I'd like this more if it had two USB ports instead of one. One last note - this is compatible with ios 7 and the latest iPhone 5s (some accessories are not).

Love this charger!! Charges my iPhone 6s Plus WAAAYYY faster than the factory wall wart! When you need to get your device charged quickly this does the trick! It is a bit bigger than the factory power supply but it's not an issue for me. I couldn't go back to a factory charger after using this. If you need to add a few bars of juice in a short time, this is the way to go.

The charger that came with my phone decided to turn itself into a trickle charger - as in, plug it in for 12 hours and the phone would only be 50% charged. The USB outlets in my power strip quit working completely. So I needed something to replace it at home and to keep in my bag as a spare.

With most devices, you need a larger amperage, and this one fits the bill. The bright colors are fun as well - no more boring all-black or all-white.

The one caveat, as another reviewer noted, is the very high pitched whine it emits. You won't notice it if there is any background noise, but when I first became aware of it, I thought I was imagining things. I finally narrowed the source down to my power strip, then to the Belkin Mixit plugged into that. That's why I docked it one star.

I like this charger, I have two of them in different colors. The last one I bought fell apart after a few months of use. The back of the charger is a flat piece of plastic that seems to be held in place by friction only. It is no longer held in place. I put it back together with Superglue, but it does not work any more. I assume that an electrical connection was broken at the moment the back of the charger separated.

Excellent charger. When using a quality USB cable that is capable of passing the 2.1 amps through, it charges my devices as expected. This item was a gift for my daughter, as it is her favorite color (pink). I didn't want to get her a cheap charger that gets too hot, and this one does the job nicely.

The only thing it does not have is prongs that folds down. You have to be careful when packing this charger, as the prongs could bust the screen if something were to land on the bag.

It's great! I bought it for my daughters (one purple one pink) because they keep loosing their chargers. It doesn't cause an error or overheat. It is 4 instead of 5 only because it is a bit bigger, maybe twice the size, of the original charger and for the price I'd maybe expect more features from an aftermarket product. But if you're on the fence, just buy it, it works great.
