Hold the ear bag along its long axis with two hands and flex to open. Then be sure to put your ear inside the bag, being careful to match the curved side of the ear bag to the curved side of your ear. You may want to tuck your ear lobe up into the ear bag. Then press the top and the bottom of the ear bag at the same time and you will feel a little snap as the item closes around your ear. I have worn these for over three years and am buying more. They work very well. However, when they were first merchandized, the sellers always posted the measurements of what small, medium, and large equal. I have never had one fall off, if it has been properly placed on my ear and I have worn them through gales of wind.

I asked for these for Christmas not because of extreme cold, but to protect my ears from the wind. I seem to get terrible ear pain even in 60 degree weather if it is really windy. With Earbags I don't have to wear a knit hat and look like a nut! I can wear a hat over them for even more protection if needed. I got black and I have dark hair, so they completely blend in and cannot be seen, very discreet. I did notice that one ear seems to get a bit sore from the spring that holds it in place, otherwise I would give them five stars. I do wear glasses and that did not cause me any problems. Perhaps it depends on the style of ear piece.

OMG I LOVE these. Every day I have to ware a Hat (crushes my hair and makes my head sweat ) and ear muffs (they all slip and move around no matter what style over heard, behind head) a scarf., and my hood (jacket, coat or goodie).

I drive a school bus and the bus can take upto half an hour to warm up enough to able to finally remove "All that stuff"/ Now during this time I can't hear, and I can't move. If I move then I have to readjust everything, while I am driving! It is not safe to do. So I end up ripping everything off (yes even though I know it will happen, but I'm still cold and hope for the best) and FREEZE, so I am shivering and mad cuz I was stupid to do this EVERYDAY ;-}.

My dear sweet loving hubby got me these. I made fun of them and him for yet another gimmick. Well I am not laughing now cuz I LOVE THESE. You do not feel them on, they are lite and comfy and .... wait for it ..... I CAN HEAR, yes you can actually hear. Not muffled, garbled, but just like you are not warring anything. I walked around shopping in and out of the car and just left them on. I really forgot I had them on. The only adjustment I had to get use to was how to put them on and my glasses (to drive, read, walk, ect.) once you get a game plane figured out, you can just leave the earbags on all day.

They are not bulky or cumbersome; they lay comfortably against your head and basically out of sight if you have long hair. It is easy to put on you just "pop" it open (kind of like clips women ware in there hair) slip the "Bag" over your ear and then push against your head, and your done. You can shake you head, and they are still on. You can have a conversation and not keep saying huh? You are not restricted with layers upon layers of clothes.Read more ›

I wore these in very cold windy weather. They did not keep my ears warm like regular earmuffs do. If you wear a hat, scarf or anything that touches your ears, they fall off. I would say they are okay for cool weather. If anything touches the earbags they will not stay on your ears.

I have worn ear bags for several years because hats don't work for me. I like the fact they come in different sizes because ears certainly do. The keep your ears warm and can be almost unnoticeable because if you choose a set the color of your hair/skin or they can be fun like the leopard print I recently bought.

I bought these to go to New York City. They were helpful in that they protected my ears from the wind and cold; BUT I still felt the cold through them.

I went on Amazon looking for ear muff warmers that have the spring band holding them to your head. When I saw the ear bags advertized, I must admit that I didn't think they would stay on very well. Well, I am now a believer! I got them a while back and went on a short (it was cold) bike ride and they not only stayed on perfectly, but they kept my ears warm too. I wear glasses and I feared that the stems would not allow the ear bags to seat properly but it was all good. They work well and easily slip into my shirt pocket with room to spare!

I purchased a pair of Earbags several years ago and misplaced them. So I bought 2 sets! They snap securely to the ear and when you hear the "click" you will know they will not fall off. Great for anyone who doesn't like to wear a hat. There are multiple sizes for different size ears too.
