Installation was simple. Though we used it for almost the full length it has been fairly sturdy. We have sets of light curtains and also blackout curtains alternating on these rods. We were also able to place these pretty close to the ceiling rather than just close to the window frame (center of bar about 3 inches down from ceiling), despite there being a sizable ornament on each end, so we were pretty happy with that. The color worked fine with a black and espresso living room theme even though it was supposed to be some sort of "antique bronze" …

These curtain rods look nice once installed but the design of the rod supports are very poor for installation. It is very difficult to drill the screws into the wall because the U-support gets in the way. My other curtain rods had supports which came in two pieces for this reason. Just a word of warning. If you have an angle drill than you probably will not have as big of a problem.

After checking several options out, this was the choice. I had a friend who paid a lot more than I did for a similar product and my curtain rod looks as good as the one she purchased. With four brackets, this easily spans my large windows and is very sturdy.

This was very easy to install, and my curtains glide along it very easily. The rod and finials are definitely much nicer than lower cost alternatives I've seen in the past. Note that you will need a drill with a couple different sized drill bits, depending on whether you're installing into drywall, wood trim, or a stud. Besides the drill and drill bits, everything you need to mount this is included in the box.

strong and high quality. I attached 2 together at a corner with a corner connector to achieve a very long series of curtains that covers 4 sliding glass doors on 2 walls. the rods do not deflect at the extended length.

Good price. Nice color. Champagne color can be very hard to find especially in the size. There was a couple scratches on the ends but I believe that was from packaging. I was able to hide it by facing in towards the wall.
