They sure look cute. I ordered five boxes, and all boxes were slightly crushed. Since I couldn't give crushed boxes as gifts, I opened up the boxes, and most of the pups were broken into many pieces. When I tasted bits of the cookie, I was disappointed. Not very chocolatey or buttery. Just bland or stale. In my opinion, not worth the money, and not a very good product. I DO love their regular shortbread.

If you are a shortbread fan, then you already know that Walker's makes the perfect cookie. Shortbread has only a few ingredients---flour, butter, sugar, and salt---and the amount of each one can make a huge difference in the taste and texture of the final product. Walker's shortbread is the proper thickness, with great texture and the right finish of salt. I usually eat the plain "stick" variety, but these Scotties make a pretty accompaniment when it's teatime with friends.
