I love this pressure cooker. I made some of the best chicken parm ever in it. And it is great for stock. and soup... and beets are great in it and so quick. I just honestly cant complain...

I know that the PSI of this pressure cooker being electronic is lower than the highest of 15 in the manual ones. However, i love the ability to "set it and forget it" I would hate to worry about the stove being on while the pressure cooker is on.

I love how i can sear something inside of this and then turn on the pressure part and finish it off in one part.

and , i also love that the company stood by their product when i had a problem. After i made my chicken parm the bottom was ruined, i soaked and i used a magic eraser and to my horror the non stick coating came off, i was really angry b/c this is not a cheap item and because i use it all the time!

I emailed the company a photo and within 2 min someone called me and a replacement was on the way to me. THAT IS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

the only reason i am giving 4 stars is to be a bit fair in the fact that i did have to call and get a replacement and it would have been nice for the inner pot to be non stick and indestructible . Also, it would be nice to be able to adjust the PSI, a low psi, med and the high 12 setting would be ideal

Also, would be really cool if there was an optional trivet accessory for this for when making roasts inside.

Next time i make chicken parm i plan on lining the bottom with some foil to avoid such bad sticking, even though most likely my inner pot was defective and not properly coated, i just want to err on the side of caution.

I bought mine from HSN, and had to return it because it was defective. I made a beef stew in it, using their recommendations but the knob at the top would not rest on airtight, and steam was lightly escaping though it, I tried to settle it by putting on a pair of gloves and lightly tapping it, but it would not settle. I let the machine go through it's cycle. The beef stew turned out nicely, however the bottom of the container was badly scorched. It cleaned easily with warm soap and water using a non abrasive sponge. I called maximatic and their customer service was great, (I couldn't find where to place the condenser cup). I returned it for a refund, because of the defect. I did not ask for an exchange because one thing I do not like about this product is that there is no handle on the lid top, its on the front, and removal is cumbersome. Another dislike is that this unit only cooks at 12psi pressure. Stovetop pressure cookers cook at 15 psi, so if you are thinking of purchasing this cooker thinking you can just use your old stovetop recipes, you will need to make adjustments. I rated this unit 3 stars because of the way the stew turned out, and for the excellent customer service at Maximatic.

This is a great pressure cooker It's quiet It really cooks well I have another well known pot that doesn't cook beans nearly as fast as this one The other u have to pre soak your beans Not in this baby They are done the way I like them in 45minutes.I love everything about this pot Everyting including pasta turns
Out perfect and taste delicious.I have the blue one it looks pretty sitting on the counter If u want a good pressure cooker Give this one a try

I want to thank the person who created this product! I love it very much! It cooks food so fast that would take all day to fix! But I have one slight problem! I didn't get a Manuel on this,I really had a hard time understanding how to use it exactly,even though on the lid is instructions. But I wanted to know a few things like setting the timer and how long on certain foods I'm cooking! And I think it should have came with a cookbook just to show how long on a certain dish! Did anyone else agree with me or did they just forgot to put mine in the shipping?? Please help me!!!

This Pressure is outstanding!, Not only is it super fast, it makes anything you cook tender and tasty. I have made chocolate cake, custard, chicken stew, and today I only had some frozen breaded Chicken tenders in freezer, so I threw 4 of them, 3 cups of broth and lots of fresh and frozen veggies& 1/2 cup dried un-soaked beans. In 15 minutes it was done and sooooo good. It's NOT scary to use; will save so much time with 1 pot meals; not to mention all the money you might have spent at fast food places, because you don't have the time of energy to cook.

It's strange to say "I love the product" and give it 3 stars, but that's the quandary I'm in. I have used the cooker 4 times to cook near perfect beans, greens, and a stew. I take super good care of my cooking-machines and carefully washed the coated inner pot with a soft sponge...yet, after washing it the last time, I saw a tiny black dot on the wall of the pot. Closer observation showed it to be a small chip in the non-stick coating and when viewed through a magnifying glass, the chip appeared to have been the top of a bubble in the coating. I emailed the manufacturer who just responded to tell me "Thank you for contacting us, I do apologize for the inconvenience! Unfortunately the inner pot is not covered under warranty, but if its something you purchased less than a 30 days ago you can return or exchange it to where it was purchased." Just thought it was a point to be considered before purchasing.
