the toy is big enough that little hands can grasp on in a number of places. The loops and shapes are all pliable and flexible and work well for babies. The twist clicks as described. It isn't too hard to twist so baby won't have to be too strong, but the clicking is not super loud. Loud enough to hear, but not so loud that you will go crazy when little one is playing with it. It is a decent toy, but I may not bring it to church or something that is generally quieter inside. Very pleased with this toy though and I think baby will enjoy it too. it is also all plastic and silicone and very easy to sanitize.

My son loves this toy! Not only does he enjoy twisting it for the clicking sound, he also loves chewing on the different rings, or just looking at the different colors/textures. It's very stimulating. We never go anywhere without it, because if he has a melt-down and all else fails, this toy will do the trick. We got this when my son was 3-4 months and he still loves it at 11 months. Some customers are saying it was too avanced for their babies, or too boring. Well, all babies are different; they all prefer different kinds of toys. Maybe this isn't a hit with some babies, but it was an instant favorite with mine.

Its not baby's favorite toy but he mouths it sometimes if he does not see it for a couple of days. He can't turn hold the loops to turn the ball in the center to make the clicking sound yet but he bangs it on everything, so I guess he is happy with it.

My son used this toy for a 3 month period, then he had no more interest in it... whereas he still uses all of his other teether toys. So, overall, I do not think we really needed it. Plus, my son has never been able to make it click and gets frustrated when his parents can do it but he cannot.
