It's attractive, and the cats like to scratch the posts, but neither will get on top because it is sooo wobbly. (yes, we've tightened it as much as we can -- and my cats are both under 10 pounds, so it's not that they are too heavy for it). One of my cats sleeps in the middle section though. We're going to try and find some L-brackets and mount it to the wall so it doesn't move so much. Our previous tower http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002O0OW0S/ was much sturdier, but the cats wouldn't use the hammock, and eventually they clawed the sides until the strings were shredded and the bamboo strips were coming off. Hoping we can reinforce this new one enough for both of them to use it.
One plus was that delivery was prompt and the item came fully assembled.
Follow up: we used 2 L-brackets to keep the top shelf of the tower stationary against the wall, and now the cats like it. I am upping from 3 star to 4 star.
