Bought this sunscreen yesterday in Target on a whim, I've tried many others that would claim that they are shine free, absorb quickly, etc. Even more expensive ones, but always looked like an oil sleek and felt that you have some sort of film on your skin. I have a very sensitive skin, it breaks out from everything immediately! This one is - oh yes! heaven. Went on very smoothly, lightly, as if not even there, didn't have to rub it in, just kind of disappeared into my skin, wonderful clean feeling and no shine! I hope this one will be around for a while, because I am sold!

P.S. at the end of the day my skin is still feeling clean and fresh.

This is the only sunscreen that doesnt react to my kids skin allergies and eczema. Its very mild enough to use on the face. My kid's skin react to other sunscreen lotion. We buy this regularly for trips and during the summer. It's worth the price.

This is a wonderful product for those who want an oil free, fragrance free sun block. I use it as a daytime moisturizer in the summer, and my skin feels silky smooth without that greasy feeling of some sunscreens. It has proven to be very effective on my face in preventing skin damage from the sun, so I give it five stars. It is also getting harder to find in stores, so it is great to be able to order it through Amazon.

For what it's worth, my legs and some other rarely exposed areas are whiter than a sheet of paper, lol,and I have had more burns than I care to remember. This product is excellent for me. Was concerned about reviews describing powdering/flaking after application, but have not seen that. Also, unsure why someone's would have smelled bad. Has very little scent, even when on face (thus next to nose). Goes on very smoothly, soaks right in (or seems to), and leaves my skin feeling almost dry, like I didn't put anything on. No greasy or oily feeling at all. Best of all, no burning. Will only be using this from now on.

I love this lotion, but it contains the exact same ingredients as Coppertone's Oil Free sunblock - and costs about twice as much (per volume). The labels containing the active and inactive ingredients are identical.

The only thing distinguishing this product is specific to your face is the bottle.

I train for long distance triathlons (Half Ironman and Ironman distances) and am an avid scuba diver so I'm in the sun almost every day of the week! I religiously wore Coppertone's Oil Free Face and Body Sunblock SPF 30 because I liked its non-greasy, easy to apply consistency, but found I still got quite dark with it.

A friend suggested I up my SPF and I found this online - they don't seem to carry it in our local pharmacies in New York. This was far more superior. It has the same non-greasy, easy to apply consistency that I love about Coppertone's Oil Free line, stays on well in the water/when I sweat, and better protects me in the sun.

I've heard that sunblocks don't make a difference above SPF 30, but found I don't get as many visible tan lines with this stronger SPF50 and I'm spending just as much time in the sun, if not more! I have light yellow Asian / Spanish skin that can get quite brown.

If it helps, I use Coppertone's Sunscreen Lotion Ultra Guard Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Lotion SPF50 for my body and find the same results - I like the Ultra Guard Broad much more than the Coppertone Sensitive Skin, 50 SPF, which was thick, hard to apply and left white streaks on my skin.

I have very dry, light, acne prone skin. I use CeraVe lotion daily and needed something with an added spf. I purchased the CeraVe AM with sunscreen and that stuff made me WAY too oily, even with my dry skin. I bought a bottle of the oil free Neutrogena sunscreen ($13) and liked it, other than the odd smell. We left town and I forgot my bottle of sunscreen so I stopped and grabbed a cheap bottle of Coppertone Oil Free Faces ($6) and man I was impressed! No odd smell, not overly greasy (people, this stuff is sunscreen and will have a slight greasyness no matter what) and no breakouts! I will continue to use this product!
