Two packages - Enough bolts for 3 toilets?

These are the real deal -- good, non-magnetic stainless. My toilet bowls only need two bolts each, so two packages contain enough bolts for three toilets. You'll be one gasket short, but if you already have an extra gasket, you're all set.

The bolts are 1/4 " -- a bit smaller than the original 3/8" brass ones I'm replacing, but they work fine. Since steel is stronger than brass, should be plenty strong.

I don't know why these are so hard to find. The bolts sold in Home Depot are complete crap. They were brass-coated steel and started rusting in a week or two, with flakes of rust causing the flapper to leak. Toilet tank bolts need to be solid brass or stainless steel -- period.

They do what they're supposed to do

Good quality non-magnetic stainless hardware. The bolts are a perfect length and it's nice that the o-ring between the tank and base is included in the pack. If I had anything to complain about it would be that the bolt itself is a little on the small (thin) side. they do the job though and don't leak.

No leak No rusting, exactly what you expect from Stainless Steal Hardware

I am tired of replacing the brass toilet tank bolts on the 3 toilets in my house. The brass bolts rot out and leak at the most inopportune time and may not be noticed, leading to rot damage. The package arrived 4 days early. The installation was simple, I did all 3 in less than one hour. The instructions were easy to follow. Well worth the investment.
