I have been using this machine for just over a year now so I'll break this down by pros and cons.
Pros:
Gets rid of a TON of dead skin cells
Softens fine lines with continued use (don't expect immediate anti-aging results)
Helps my serums absorb into my skin much better
Has significantly reduced the number of break outs I get
Great for prepping the skin before a chemical peel
Compared to the cost of having weekly microdermabrasion treatments done at a spa, this is far more cost effective
Comes with a dvd on how to properly use the machine. (watch it!)
I personally love that it suctions all that dead skin OFF my face as it's doing it's thing.

Cons:
There's a learning curve when you first start out with this machine. I found that some areas are easier to get at if I hold the skin taut.
The blue "sensitive" disks may still be too much for some users. Happily, PMD has disks that are milder.
It is very easy to overdo it, especially when first starting out. One sweep over each area is all that's needed - more than that and you may end up with very red, irritated skin.
The body disk is still (in my opinion) a bit too small for getting large areas of the body, but it's great for smaller areas like knees and elbows. Just be prepared for a time investment if you're planning on doing your entire body, say.

Overall, I give the PMD 5 stars. With regular once a week use, I've noticed a huge difference in my skin's tone, texture and clarity. My serums absorb quickly and work more effectively, and it's been great in prepping my skin prior to a glycolic acid peel (using the sensitive disks). I was very excited about this product before trying it! It was incredibly disappointing! I had to return it, not only it didn't make my skin look any better at all! But it gave me red stripes all over my face and in one spot it burned me to the point that 3 days later I still have a burn like mark and I'm afraid it won't go away! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money or risk ruining your skin with this product!....

I love this thing. It took about 3 wks before I noticed anything. But by the 3 rd wk a couple of people said my skin looked a lot better. Now with the pmd you do have to wait 7 days bf you use again . I added it to my routine which is black soap, followed by unpasteurized mother cider vinegar, and 100%african natural shea butter. This machine does work if you follow the instructions about not going over the area more then twice per use. But I love it! I'm only on the blue but it works.
