Exactly what I wanted and needed. It's a shutter release doesn't need to be super fancy. Price was low and feels to be pretty good quality. I use my watch or phone as the timer so to me having a release with a built-in display was just one more thing that could break. Go with this one if u need a basic locking shutter release.. for the price you can't beat it.

Great for when you are using a tripod with no flash or on camera flash. OR great for a back up because it uses no batteries in the switch. So, it works every time your camera works! No lag time either. You press the butter and the shutter is released.

This is one of those rare items that actually is as good as the brand name. It is a button, with a cord to plug into a camera. I kept my extra $50 and went with this one. Works great, cord is thick and wont wear and fray. I dare say just as nice ans the NIkon. Very pleased.

This item certainly isn't rocket science, its a simple button/switch combo. Its hard to brag about the simple things unless you let the price tag influence you. This item works great, as it should and is just shy of 1/3 the price of the Nikon Brand. It's all plastic, but so is the Nikon MC-DC2. It is almost twice the size of the DC2, which in my opinion fits much better in my hand. The DC2 is 3 inches long, 3/4 inches wide, 1/2 inch depth. The JYC is 3.5 inches long, 1 inch wide, 3/4 inch depth. My only issue is that it shipped from China and the shipping info didn't update that often but I received it in reasonable time, about 10 business days.
