Not bad for the money. Was looking for a way to test output of a Baofeng UV-3R and this does the job. Of course it can be used to hook up to a mobile or station antenna too. Does the job for a fair price and does not put a physical strain on the radio connector like similar w/o a short cable.

I purchased this to connect a Byonics MT-AIO APRS tracker unit to a mobile antenna on my car. It works very well and does exactly what it was designed to do. It appears to be rugged enough to take "normal" wear & tear. I would buy more of these cables instead of SMA-SO239 adapters just to keep the strain off the SMA.

Excellent quality. Have used several, no issues.
Can barely measure any decibel loss at all.

It worked well then the SMA end fell off so I reinforced it with a spring from an ink pen soldered it in place because the outer shield broke off at the crimped end. Later the other end came completely off and that I could not repair. I would have used some form of stress relief by way of a spring or some other form support other than the heat shrink tubing.

This is an excellent "pigtail" for putting your VHF/UHF handy talkie on an RG-8 feedline leading to stationary antenna -- WA4OSH

Performance got progressively worse, then one day the coax just came out of the SMA end. It's just crimped on, not soldered.

Now that I have it and use it on my FT-60R, I'm kinda worried somewhat about the big SO-239 connector on a small (looks like RG-174) cable. The SMA connection is solid but I'd use something to support the cable connection to the UHF connector if I could figure out something that would work in a portable environment.
