This is a great product -- as long as you don't value your time and don't care whether your kids enjoy theirs. We bought two of these motorcycles for my boys, ages 2 and 4. Thankfully, the kids are too young to realize what awful pieces of garbage the bikes are. So far, they enjoy inching around the cul de sac at a half-mile per hour. And when the wheel literally fell off one of them, their anxiety was overcome by the excitement of watching daddy fix it. The motorcycles' best feature, perhaps, is at the push of a button, they blare generic techno music in Chinese. Unfortunately, that button works on only one of the bikes, so the boys have begun fighting over who gets to ride that one. This is exacerbated by the fact that that particular bike speeds at a faster clip than the other so that it takes only 5 minutes to complete a lap. At least it took my wife and I only 2 hours to put them together. The instructions were hard to follow, but I'm sure they made more sense in the original Cantonese.

The pictures make it look so big. Don't Be fooled! My 3 year old got it for Christmas and it was so small after we assembled it. We were so upset! Not to mention it didn't last a day!

We ordered this for my son's 3rd birthday since he wanted a motorcycle to match Daddy's Customized Yamaha Raider (see it at roadstarraider.com/ChromeRaider1). Upon opening the box I realized it was going to be to small and for him since he is a big three year old. The bike was easy to assemble for me to since I've been a military mechanic for over 20 yrs so I didn't bother using the instructions. It's a nice looking motorcycle but it's so slow and the battery doesn't last very long outside (tops 20 min going down the sidewalk and coming back up). This is better suited for 1/12 to 2yr old max and only use in the house on hard floors not carpet which drains the battery quickly. If your child is turning 3 yrs old soon search for a bigger version of this motorcycle or find a appropriate power wheels vehicle more to handle size, weight, and your child won't outgrow quickly.

Would have given it a 5 if all the screws (missing half of each kind) and the piece that snaps the tool box cover into place weren't missing. Video is incorrect on how to put together along with instructions. Once you realize that you have to place a metal washer on the rear rod first before placing it through the holes and then a washer before you put the tire on the left side, it is very easy to ensure the motor portion doesn't fall out. Make sure before you put the left rear tire on that you put in the motor on the right side and then connect the motor inside the bike, then put the tire on, a washer, then the pin. See the photos and where the washers are located.

I really wish that I had researched this toy before making the decision to purchase. I have just spent three hours assembling the thing. Among many other problems and issues, the instructions are sparse to the point of being almost useless; the front wheel had to be wrestled into the forks; the front fender was a different design to that pictured in the instructions; the rear "tool box" clasp was poorly cast and broke on the initial closure. Perhaps the most frustrating issue was the time wasted in looking for the battery charger point which the instructions referred to as being located "in the front body". Who writes these things ??? I could have put together a houseful of IKEA furniture in the time it took me to cudgel this bike together. By any stretch of the imagination, a charging point just below the rear seat cannot fulfil the description in the instructions as being located "in the front body". I was just on the point of packing the thing up when I took one last despairing look around and found it. Oh yes, and where is the MP3 socket please ? Or is that the same orifice as the charger point ? Who knows ? I will, against my better judgement, retain the toy and see how it performs for my grandson but Santa Amazon had better watch out if this bike lives down to the problems others have experienced !!!

This was a Christmas gift for my daughter from a relative. We no longer speak to them.

After about 45 minutes of attempting to assemble this marvelous failure of a toy, and 45 minutes of listening to my wife read its hilarious and truthful Amazon reviews, I reached my breaking point.

I swiftly collected the mostly-assembled toy and, in what seemed to be one smooth motion, brought it outside and tried to throw it into the earth's molten core. My driveway prevented the toy from reaching its intended destination, resulting in the toy breaking into a bunch of pieces. The larger pieces were shortly thereafter reduced to smaller pieces with the aid of a nearby shovel, fueled by my fit of blind rage.

Seeing as this was a gift, I felt a slight bit of guilt after destroying this piece of crap. But whatever guilt I had experienced was soon replaced by relief and joy.

I cannot not recommend this product enough. It is a cheap, poorly made, smelly, hot, steaming pile of Chinese diarrhea. The instructions need their own instructions. The parts do not fit together as expected. The only positive is on the battery (bah dum tss). Oh, yeah. Make sure you remove the battery before throwing the toy away.

I'd sooner wish ALS on a loved one than give this product to an enemy.
