Was recommended for our daughter from her occupational therapist to improve and encourage chewing on back molars, defiantly reconmended great product you can stick a crackerr or anything crunchy on the end and have them bite on it to hear the crunch

chewy tube instead of grinding teeth

I'm glad Amazon is carrying this product, we used to buy from a specialty place at higher price. My daughter grinds her teeth, and she will chew on this in place of the grinding - we have to remind her a lot. Lasts pretty long, but replace when it begins to break - will break as a bite hole or split, but pieces do not fall off or anything like that. She also likes the green one with bumps. We only use the "T" shape.

We love them, buy it early, keep encouraging little one to use, instead of pacifier, or fingers.

My 20 month old granddaughter took awhile to get accustomed to these, I wish I had found them when she was an infant. What I have done is to wean her from her pacifier by only letting her have it to sleep and when she is chewing on her fingers or something else, I promptly replace it with the chewy tubes. I have several different ones. She has most of her teeth, now, but uses them most often for her molars our for chewing when she is bored or watching television, our live performances.

I find the t shaped ones a little noisy but, not a loud whistle, unless you are in a meeting, or large congregation, it would not be bothersome, and the "average" toddler or infant noises are louder than the noise the tube makes. If you buy them and your child seems not to like them, just keep offering them to them, saying, "bite it", even showing them what you can do with it, you'd be surprised what they'll copy. My granddaughter wouldn't chew them at all the first week, I kept challenging her, and now she knows what they are for. Chewing.!

Helped during the teething phase and now helps him relax when nervous or anxious. Also serves the dual purpose of exercising his jaw muscles. Very durable, much sturdier than the yellow chewy!

Chewy Tube

My daughter chews her thumbs badly. When she has a chewy tube, she uses that instead of her thumbs. We had used our last one several months ago. I waited too long to order. The first one I gave her was chewed apart in about a week. She's had her second for about a month and it's still looking pretty good. Her need to bite down on something was worse than I thought. I highly recommend chewy tubes for people stuck in an oral stage.

Great chew toy

Although my daughter doesn't like to chew on this as much as she enjoys chewing on her other toys, it's durable and it's great to have something appropriate available for her to chew. Every bite she takes on this is a bite she didn't take out of something she shouldn't have in her mouth.
