  • This winter travel bag is approx. 3.5 tog and perfect for use in winter and room temperatures below 59 °F, it has long padded arms. They are slightly less padded than the sleeping bag to allow for unrestricted arm movements. Sleeves are NOT removable.
  • The ideal solution for families on the move; the back vent allows the car seat or buggy harness to be popped through the baby sleeping bag, between the two way zip. Fasten the harness in the usual way. The two way, front zip, allows simple adjustment for baby's comfort. On arrival home baby can be transferred without effort from car seat to cot.
  • Outer and Lining: 100% Cotton with print, Padding: soft polyester fleece to prevent migration and allergies. Machine wash at 100°F and low heat tumble dry.

Why does it smell so toxic? The sleep bag appears to be of good quality -- well sewn and well designed; however, the fabric is off-gassing a really terrible smell. What is that?! It smells like a strong chemical. I've tried washing it and it still has an odor. I've never purchased any baby clothing products with this type of smell and I can't figure out why it smells so bad and strong.

This sleepsack is huge - my 15 month old is completely dwarfed by it. But the rib sleeve cuffs keep the sleeves from falling over his hands, and his head still pokes out of the neck hole without any issues. You can snap up the bottom, so that it's not as long, but it always comes unsnaps throughout the night, so I no longer bother snapping it closed. The print is a bit clownish, but it's actually really cute. Up until about a week ago, he was sleeping in a Baby Deedee (2.5 togs), but when the weather turned cold one night, that sleepsack didn't do anything to keep out the cold, and my kid was like a giant ice cube. I put him in this sleepsack the next night, and he was completely insulated and warm the following morning. The sleeves and 1.0 tog make a significant difference. A great winter sleepsack.

I bought this sleeping bag for my 6 month old boy (70% height, 50% weight) to use in the winter, but it is honestly too huge to be safe. I guess I should have known that this would be the case, since the company provides the length of the sleeping bag, but I don't understand why they would put the age range from 6 to 18 months. A normal size 18 month old would still be swimming in it. My 2.75 year old girl is 36 inches tall and can still wear a Halo Sleepsack in L, but as you can see from my photo this sleeping bag is several inches longer than that. I guess my daughter will be using this and I'll have to get my son something else. It gets two stars for solid construction and double-zippers, although the material itself seems really rough.
