Originally bought this to use with two Robo hamsters but due to cage swapping its now in with our large Syrian. She somehow has managed to get inside it and make a little bed though the fit is super tight, her little tail was sticking out the entrance last I saw just because she couldn't fully fit inside :) Cute but this would probably be better for smaller hamster only. Wouldn't recommend it for anything larger than a dwarf. Constructing is great on it and at the very least its something to entertain them with and chew on.

I don't like writing reviewes that aren't positive, but I feel like this was a waste of $. My hamster doesn't climb on this, and watching her, it doesn't look like it's even a possibility, though maybe it would work for a larger hamster, I'm not sure. I gave it 3 stars because it's well made and seems constructed in a way as to present no danger to the critter (no nails, smooth surfaces).

My mice loved climbing on this thing and it became a nice chew toy for them. However, I wound up having to rate it lower because of the cleanup on it. I have another wood toy from the same company and it is so much nicer to wipe down. This one--I could sit and rinse off forever and it still retains smells from when my mice may have gone to the bathroom near it. We got rid of it after so long because it just started to reek and get yellowed.
