You have to use these to your advantage. Make sure you spray at a distance or they will leave nice size drops over your fabric. I am not a fan of Tulip products but if you are on a budget do with you can with them.

I wrote this review also for the non-neon pack but this applies to the Neon pack as well. These are great fabric paints! I they did do a "circular" ring when sprayed fully and sometimes it wasn't easy to do a half-spray "splatter". I really recommend you get extra spray bottles because if you test some and can't get a splatter effect, sometimes transferring the paint to another type of spray bottle may work better. Travel spray bottles seem to work well enough. When done right on the right fabric, they are very color-fast, absolutely NO running whatsoever.

Also, test your fabric by spraying on scraps of the same exact type of fabric, then going through the process of waiting 72 hours, washing and seeing if it turns out OK before you even try to work on your final project. I highly recommend using white 100% cotton or at least cotton blend (though I didn't try blended fabric) with these paints.

Here are my steps that gave me the best results:

1. I started with 6 white 100% cotton crew-neck t-shirts. I washed them first before doing anything else and then did a little alteration to them to get them the way I wanted (I did NOT add any decorations since one should dye the shirts first).

2. I placed a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to separate the front and back. You can get cardboard from a box or from your local dollar store - I cut a piece to fit out of a project board. I also placed paper towels over exposed board so that I can re-sued the cardboard and not get the previous session spray over it. Though I found the dye dried fast and didn't run into the next t-shirt even if it did end up on the board.
