These dumbbells are sold separately but the price was great so it was no big deal to buy two, instead of a set. One dumbbell arrived last Friday and the other has not arrived yet. I ordered them at the same time. Very odd, but nonetheless, I love the way the dumbbell looks and feels. I thought 5 pounds might be too much for me since I am a beginner but its just fine for me. Unlike some of the other reviews for dumbells on this site, the one I recieved was clean, new, has no smell, and really looks nice. I have no complaints, other than the fact that I only got one, and not both on the same day. Oh well, life is not perfect. The product is fabulous!!!!!

I know people can now see that this is only one dumbbell, but the description on what I THOUGHT I had ordered clearly said a "set", EVEN upon confirmation or order! I took that to mean " 2". I purchased another at Bed, Bath, & Beyond, in store. Of course, it was half the price of the ONE I ordered. I see no difference, other than price. Learned my lesson.

It says "dumbbells" but you only get 1 in the mail?! Completely misleading. I thought I was paying for two. This is WAY to much for for ONE dumbbell. Rip off. Sending back.

A perfectly lovely dumbbell, however, for what I paid I was expecting TWO. A set, as dumbbells are usually sold. I have ordered another one and for what I paid for the pair, they should be made of solid gold. This experience left me feeling like the dumbbell - wish I had read the reviews first, instead of assuming I would get what I expected - A PAIR OF DUMBBELLS.

I suppose I should have known better, but I was surprised when only 1 dumbbell arrived, not a pair. I ended up ordering another (seemed easier than returning one and buying a pair elsewhere).

I do like the color and quality of the coating. I haven't used them much, so I don't know how the coating will hold up. I do know I like this neoprene coating better than the vinyl, which always leaves my hands feeling sweaty and gross.
