Update 7/15
I did another 2 weddings with these. They work great. They work 100% with my D4 D800E and D600 with no issues, not sure why Yongnuo says it's incompatible with D4 D3X D3S.
A couple of useful things I found. I was trying to setup groups of flash system, and have my 2nd shooter share the system with another 622 on her camera. What can be annoying is when she fires her camera, she sends signals to my 622 and make it into a receiver, thus my flash would go off in a guest's face..yep not nice. Apparently only 1 transmitter can be in charge. If you fire both cameras at the same time, the flash do fire but they cant catch up with the recharge and also they get confused about which system to receive from. You will see a high speed blinking on the LCDs of each of the off camera flashes, which is not normal. To overcome this, you can set the 622s on both cameras to be the same group, say "C", and the rest off camera flashes to be group "A" and "B". In transmitter mode, set the 622 to trigger groups A and B but not C, so each camera can fire both groups but not the ones on the camera (yes, assuming both cameras have on camera flash attached as a zone power controller). The downside to this is you lose 1 group, and can only have 2 groups of off camera flashes. There are times when I am unable to fire a certain group, and I am still looking into the reason why. But I suspect it might be better that you setup all flashes and 622s and cameras ready at the same table in relative close distances, before moving them further to their intended location. What I did was I moved the units to the locations where I want them, and then try to setup the 622. Sometimes the 622 can be 50' away from the camera and the other group, and I suspect that might be why there is inconsistency in the connection.

Why am I surprised that Yongnuo delivered again. When I heard rumored about i-ttl high sync triggered from yongnuo I got really excited. You can find triggered like these on an expensive pocket wizard and a good priced PIXEL King Wireless TTL Flash Trigger. The price difference between the pixel king and yn-622n isn't that big, maybe 30%. But I went with 622-n because I prefer the red IR auto-focus assist over pixel king regular light bulb. IR assist light on speedlight allows you to shoot in the dark, where the regular light bulb you get a few OoF shots (it doesn't focus as good as IR pattern). My nikons AF bulb is about the same size and is over the lens anyways.

The good.
+ I-ttl works on my d7000 and d600 with my sb-700 and sb-600. This is a the number one reason. I use use cls before and this is on par, maybe it underexpose things a little but you can adjust that.
+ It works well in manual mode too, if you are curious. Just switch the speedlight to M, you can leave the 622 ittl channel as is.
+ It can do FP or high sync. Got it to go 1/4000s on my sb-700 via d600 and 1/8000s on the d7000.
+ hot shoe pass-through. I can placed my old yongnuo 603 on top of the 622 and it will work. But any flash on the 603 will only goes as fast as 1/200, so fs can't be trick on the older 603. For the older 603, I read people saying it could make the 603 goes faster, but it doesn't: just the 1/200 max (1/200 will have a small band on like the d600 (so you have to go 1/160), where the d7000 is at 1/200 not the listed 1/250).
+hot shoe pass through with sb-700 on top of 622.

EDIT 2014/08/08:

I waited a few days to hear back from Yongnuo before returning the item. I was able to get it to work. It turns out that if you've disabled the AF assist light on the speedlight, TTL mode does NOT work with these units. So, in order to fix it, I reenabled the AF assist light on my SB-910. It's working now.

Even if the AF assist light is turned on, the speedlight still will not beam it out, so that's good. Instead the YN-622N will beam out its AF assist light (unless you disable it).

I changed the review from 3 stars to 4.

Original review:

I've tried connecting the YN-622N out of the box to my D810 and SB-910 flash, but the flash will not fire in TTL mode. It fires in manual mode, though. Even after a factory reset, they still will not work for me.

I can see the settings changing on the flash in TTL mode, so I know I have the channel and grouping right. If I press the DoF preview button, the SB-910 does fire the modeling light. Just will not fire a regular flash.

I'm giving it 3 stars since it might just not work with the D810. I had one other person tell me it worked with their D810, but I can't understand why. Although, they were using the YN-622-TX as well, so that might have something to do with it.

If anyone thinks I have something configured wrong let me know, and I'll give it a shot. But the instructions (which are pretty poor) do not mention anything other than what I've tried.

I'll be sending these back soon.
