I want my money back Zoo Med!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had snakes for many, many years and have used Zoo Med products for the majority of them. Usually I use their basking lights, but during the summer my tanks require less heat so I decided to give these a try.

I first purchased one 40w bulb from my local pet store and it lasted 2-3 weeks. Thinking it was a fluke I bought this 60w two pack to replace the burnt out bulb. It is now approx. 45 days after I bought these and both bulbs have burnt out (They are on 12 hours a day). Both of them have their filaments intact so I'm not sure whats going on with them. Would not recommend these, will look elsewhere for a less intense bulb.

These bulbs are terrible. I bought this becuase it was packaged in a "two pack". The first bulb lasted only 3 weeks! The second bulb just blew out on me a few minutes ago...about 3 weeks after the first one. Read the other reviews...same issues.

Dont buy these bulbs. Cheap, poorly made. Find an alternative.

I used to get these at my local pet store for a lot more than I paid on Amazon. The strange thing was, the ones from the pet store usually broke within 2 weeks or so. The ones I've purchased on Amazon are averaging 3 months before breaking or blowing. Needless to say, I am very impressed and will continue to buy this product.

I should have listened to the other reviewers but I was so wowed by the low price. My experience was much like others who purchased this same bulb. It worked fine for a day and then it blew out. The two bulbs in the package didn't even last a week in all. In the future I will spend more money on a quality product.

These are much cheaper online than at the store! Sometimes the bulbs burn out kind of quick, but as another reviewer posted, if you let the bulbs cool down completely before switching them, you shouldn't have a problem.

Ordered two pack, one bulb blew as soon as I put it in..but I bought it to similate daylight in my dark office since I had to spend so much time there, (studies have shown that without these bulbs reptiles in captivity can get very sick-so I decided to see if it would help my Vitamin D deficiency) jury is still out on the effectiveness of same...3 stars for the fact one of the bulbs was basically a throw away.

Zoo Med 2-Pack Daylight Blue Reptile Bulbs work in great harmony with the Zoo Med Heat Bulbs. I find that setting the Blue Bulb on a timer helps extend the life of the Bulb. Another trick, is not to move the lighting fixture UNTIL BOTH BULBS ARE COMPLETELY COOL !!!!
