Bought this because I hate the plastic back of the S4 and I was not disappointed on the texture. It is a bit thicker, heavier, and much more rigid and robust, which was exactly what I was looking for. It made the phone feel as if you were holding a bigger better iPhone. It definitely feels like a "real" phone when it is in your hands and not some plastic toy. It accented the more boxy side profile of the phone nicely.

However, you should note that not only will it block NFC, but it also blocks wireless charging capabilities. This is not a function of the thickness but of the aluminum it is built out of. I will continue to search for a metal case that will not distort those wireless features

This is terrible! I put this on my phone and it brought my signal down to 1 bar or no signal at all and I have Verizon so I usually get pretty good service everywhere I go. Also it fits so tight on the phone that it almost won't even stay on.

The cover fits well, looks good and feels very nice- a big step up from the regular plastic back. There is a bit of a signal drop when you put the case on, but in well covered areas it's barely noticeable. In areas where I had shaky coverage to begin with, however, the signal drop caused some serious issues. If you're in a well covered area, this shouldn't cause you any problems.

A bit bulkier than the stock backing for the S4, makes it just a little harder to fit inside my external otter box case, but still works.
Cheap plastic rim around the edge which photo doesn't emphasize

Waste of money, I"m back to the original.
In sum, it doesn't fit. It could if they had spent a bit more time on it, but it doesn't fit like the original and once you get it on, you can't get any other protective cover on it.
