Nicely constructed. The wood is well finished. The bass response is good, and there are knob adjustments for crossover frequency and volume. The "on-Off-Auto" switch is a nice touch, as the speaker in "Auto" senses a signal and turns on from standby.

The SUB15DM that I was supposed to receive was destroyed in transit so they offered me a couple of replacement options and I went with the HD-SUB15. It is forward firing, a little larger, rated to a lower frequency and rated to have more power. Non the less I am very pleased with the service i received and very happy with the performance of my new sub. It provides the low frequency extension that I was seeking. I used the auto speaker adjustment on my receiver and I have been pleased with the balance produced. The low notes in musical passages sound fantastic and I have felt my couch shake on a few occasions. I would definitely recommend this sub. The cost was minimal and performance is just what I needed.
