A friend gave me a True Lemon package over the summer because I was complaining how I don't drink enough water. It totally changed my experience! I went online to the website and ordered the lemon, lime, and grapefruit. I LOVE THIS STUFF! I put a packet into my 24 oz Tervis cup and try to drink 3 a day now. My favorite is the lime, I totally love the way it tastes. A friend of mine who is sober mentioned it reminded her too much of a gin and tonic to her so she wouldn't be able to use the lime. She took my grapefruit packets. About the packaging...I love that I got 500 packets, I was really upset when I got this box with 500 packets dumped into it. It seemed wrong, like it wasn't packaged correctly - they were all just thrown in. How was I supposed to know that there were actually 500 packets in there? UGH! I had to count. There were indeed 500 or 499 actually. Close enough for me but what a total pain! I uploaded some pictures so others know what they are getting. Love the product, love the price, disappointed with the way it arrives - but not enough to not order again! I admit, 500 is a lot...will be awhile before I order again!

Update March, 2016 - Someone commented in a statement that what I received is 'bulk' packaging. I really just never thought about it. The way it arrived is exactly as if I went to the bulk section of a store and grabbed packets. So while I was thrown when it arrived, it is simply really bulk! I ended up giving away tons of these packets as there was simply no way I'd use 500! Friends were very happy about that.

I don't use lemon that often, and any attempts to buy a bag of the "real" stuff ends up with moldy and forgotten citrus at the bottom of my bin. However, I do occasionally need it, so when I saw this product I was ecstatic.

The first time I used it, a few years ago, the taste was wonderful but there was an issue with clumping. While I appreciated that they wanted to keep it as natural as possible, most of the packets contained a wet little mass that I had to peel away from the packet. Messy and not convenient. I contacted the company and learned this was something they were working to correct.

I tried again some time later, and the results are everything I wanted. Pure lemon taste (unlike those nasty concentrated bottles of so-called lemon juice you find in the produce department) with nice free flowing crystals. Bear in mind that one packet equals out to a teaspoon of lemon juice, so this isn't something I'd recommend getting if you are looking to make a pitcher of lemonade. However, if you're like me and like the occasional hint of lemon in a glass of water or a bit of lemon in your tea, it's fantastic.

Just how lemony is this lemon? Well, the other day a friend brought over some huge raw oysters. Personally, my favorite way to eat them is with just a dash of lemon juice. I had no lemon juice but got the idea in my head to open a couple of packets and mix with a couple tablespoons of water. My friend took a sip and was shocked because it tasted like we'd just squeezed some fresh lemons. We downed all the oysters with nothing but the True Lemon and didn't even reach for the hot sauce. I have struggled for the past 13 years with my pop consumption. I darank nothing but pop, no water ...NOTHING. I tried a free sample of this and now am hooked. If you use this daily then I suggest buying the 500ct box. I was buying the small boxes found at walmart but was spending $30 every 2 weeks. I got this for approx $32. Well worth it. I use 2 packets/ glass and no sweetner. Love it!!!

Have been using these for a while now. They're ideal in lieu of a fresh lemon to make water more interesting, or to sprinkle on fish. On a normal day, I use 3-5 packets. A great product that's gotten a bit expensive with it's "new" tube packet packaging. A great way to save for heavy users like me is the 500 count box in the "old" flat packaging. As long as they're not exposed to humidity, they're great. No sugar, no calories, no nothing - just great flavor.

I have a history of kidney stones and have been told to increase my intake of citrates (such as can be found in lemons). It's not convenient to carry a lemon in my pocket all day to add to tea or water. I saw these at a restaurant and tried it. They taste just like lemons to me, they seem to be made from real lemons. They are definitely easy to carry and use. I shopped around and this was the least expensive packaging/packet I could find.

I am carrying them in my computer bag, backpack, car, etc. I think they will help be boost my citrate intact and hopefully reduce further stone production.

I first had True Lemon in a local eatery and found that I liked it. As I always use real lemons in my water and they seem to go bad before I use them all, I thought this would be a great substitute for the real thing. I ordered it, and I am using it every day in my water. The flavor is so close to real that I can hardly believe it. I do like True Lemon a great deal.
