Satisfying Bruckner Playback

Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase

I had just heard the Minnesota Orchestra play this symphony and hadn't experienced it before, so purchased Bruckner's version so that I could replay it several times. Although the MN group used an original scoring section of one movement that Bruckner variously included or replaced with another, and Bruckner used the more traditional composition, it nevertheless was a very satisfying recording to hear on my component system. I'd recommend it to anyone, partly since I'm a long time Haitink fan.
