    Very cute on my (just turned) three year old niece, it was one of her favorite birthday presents. Because other reviewers felt that the Capezio tutus run a bit small, I felt pretty confident that the small would not be too large. She's not particularly large for her age, and about to outgrow her 3T clothing and the waistband is small enough for her now, and will stretch to fit her comfortably for the next couple of years. A big six year old might not find this comfortable. As for the reviews that complain that tutus are itchy - they're generally made of tulle, and have been forever. Tulle is a bit like mosquito netting, only stiffer, so if your kid is super sensitive about textures, look into a ballet skirt made from a more flowy georgette like fabric

    The Capezio style number is 10149C, you can google that if you want to see pictures of the tutu on models for reference, although it didn't seem quite as foofy in person as in the photos (which I actually prefer). Overall, well made, nicely finished, very pretty, and a good buy for something I know she'll be prancing around in several times a week!

    My daughter is a dancer at a local dance studio and she loves her tutus. With purchasing Capezio for a majority of her items, I was pretty disappointed with this tutu. While it served its purpose we were originally wanted the black tutu. However, it was priced significantly higher than the white and I am not happy that I did not make the sacrifice. The item is very low quality and very itchy, my daugher loves her tutu so she wore it anyway, but this had to be one of the lowest quality items that we have ever received from Capezio. We would not recommend this product to anyone and simply gave it the three starts simply because it served its purpose.

    My daughter uses this tutu for dress up. It was priced under $5 when I bought it, and I feel like it was a bargain at that price. It seems like good quality, but, as other reviewers have said, it is a little scratchy. My child does not mind this at all, but I know some children would be sensitive to that texture on their skin.

    My 3 year old daughter lit up when she saw this tutu, but we had barely put it on when she declared it scratchy and couldn't get it off fast enough. Adorable and true to size, but we are returning and getting something softer.

    I bought this for my daughter to wear for ballet class. I would not recommend buying this if you plan on making it an outfit. The material is very scratchy/itchy if nothing is worn underneath. You have to pull on the fabric to get it to it's potential length and get any wrinkles out of it. I'm sure it would be pretty uncomfortable to have this on all day but for an hour out the week this does the trick.

    I thought it was cute and it matched the Capezio lavender leotard perfectly, but my four year old daughter deemed it "too scratchy" for her to wear. We will get a softer chiffon skirt instead.
