This is the second one I received,the first one looks to have been an open box item that was ripped on the side,the second one I received was a new one in box but the latch does not work correctly,overall it looks nice for the money but it's hit or miss to get a good one.

I have been looking for a watch box for my son for a long time. Many are very expensive, and since he is a teenager, I did not want to invest that much right now. This box is very good for the money. I was pleased that it has a glass top and watch inserts that can be removed so other items can be stored in those spaces. I did not give it five stars mainly because of the hinge. There is only one hinge, two would have made it more sturdy.

Sturdy storage box with window on the lid to admire the collection. It definitely fits the bill for chunky watches and holds them comfortably.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend and I'm glad I intercepted the shipment, as I would have been very ashamed for them to have discovered this defect (even thought I didn't make it). Not sure what type of glue was used for the padded inserts onto which the watches are attached, but the oval sides had separated from at least 3 or 4 of the padded inserts. I used some epoxy to repair them before presenting to my friend.

Overall quality is ok. The pillow fabric will start to shift when putting a rubber watch band it. The worst part tjat is not on the description is that the top slots are 2"wide by 2" deep and a hair more than 3.5" long (which is great) BUT the bottom slots are 1.5" deep. I have large watches (Eco-zilla, G-Shocks, and others similar in size) that have to go on top tier. If you're a neat freak like me and have a certain order that you want things to go in, then keep these measurements in mind. Overall good product for the money, but not perfect. The key and lock are not going to keep ANYONE out, but a nice gimmick.

My only con is the removable "pillows" are fairly large. I have a large wrist and my watches still squeeze the pillows a fair bit when putting them away.
