About a year ago while in Japan a friend had taken me to one of these ear cleaning salons which was immaculate and courteous to the customer but still you can't help but be more then a little nervous with a stranger putting a long thin bamboo stick into your ear. After a few seconds though it felt extremely soothing and comfortable as the cleaner was very careful in her job and afterwords my ears felt very cared for and clean. Coming back here and using standard q-tips again made me feel for obvious reasons only the outer and bare inner ear were clean so after looking around I found these. These are much smaller then the ones at the salon and a little less durable but still good quality for what they were made for.

After doing a few test runs I'm very happy to have gotten these and with the only real complaint about the size of them when you hold one. You don't need to go to far into the ear canal and it's very advisable you don't for good reasons unless you have someone who is willing to clean your ear for you that you trust. Also while these are durable enough for the job be careful not to put much strain on them as you don't need this to break off in your ear remember these are meant to gently clean your inner ear not grind clean it.

About what you'd expect. Not super high-quality, but not crap either. They are cute and do what they are suppoosed to. I didn't really need 16 of them, so have been giving them to friends. Have to say these are so much better than a Q-tip when your inner ear itches. But don't tell my Dr. I said so.

Received these in the mail and several are already split. Edges are sharp on some and not smooth at all, and are very dry. Plus they are not that curved so it doesn't seem to do much besides relieve your inner ear itch. I've bought some bamboo ones before directly from the store and they are much better quality (was roughly $2-3 for a pair) so might be worth investing a little bit more on something you're sticking in your ear.

They were all of good quality and I am amazed at so many. The bamboo is a bit softer and not as strong. but works fine. Nice to have extras and to offer for guests. Different color cords are bright and can keep one for an special individual use.

I find these to be better than the traditional cleaning of your ears. Just for reasons obvious of course you have to be careful when you do use them. Otherwise made well, and too bad you can't find a larger pack of these but they do come in handy.

Sixteen pieces for this price seemed like an awesome deal but, after going through the batch that I received, there were only about 6 that I considered useful. While that’s still plenty, the deal is not as great as originally assumed. The other 10 or so pieces were either too straight at the bottom and/or too jagged/sharp. Almost all of them were a little rough (as opposed to smooth/sanded) on the backs of the ends. Not great for putting in your ear. While I did receive a bonus plastic earpick in my bag of wooden picks, I’m basing this review off of what people will most likely get. Even the best ones of this batch give me a bit of anxiety when I use them. You may consider looking at this seller’s non-wooden options.
