I'm normally a 10, saw the posts stating they were too small so I ordered a 10.5. Still too small, I'm now waiting on a set of 11's. I'll update once I can wear them.

That said, the construction seems great and they are nice and light.

It does run small. Hard cushion.

With "gel" in its name, I was expecting a more cushy running experience. This is not the case.

The shoe is very light. The bottom is very rigid, so feels very responsive. But I feel this is not the best choice for running, especially if you have joint/knee issues, are on recovery, or a bit overweight (because of the added stress on your knees when running, cushion becomes more important).

This is more like a walking/training shoe, decent for running, but just beware that it is a pretty hard shoe (but extremely light!).

Size-wise, I usually wear 9.5. Sometimes if it's a larger/wide fit I could do with 9. But the 10M US size fits me very snug. So definitely buy at least 0.5 bigger than your normal size.

Stand true to their name

As is tradition asics are the best common shoe for running, walking, standing, and these prove no different. Very light, breathe well, and are comfy to wear all day long. I used them mainly for running and experienced no break-in period and was able to use them and not get any blisters. Most of my runs consisted of 3-10 miles on indoor track, sidewalk, or treadmill

Great mid-level shoe upgrade from flat-footed wear!

The shoe runs a little small, I wear a 10-10.5 in most, and for this one I had to order an 11. Other than that, they're great!! I switched from mostly "flat-footed" dress shoes and Converse to the ASICS, so my feet took about a week to get acclimated to something with an arch (also, make sure to loosen them up quite a bit, as they were pretty tight out of the box).
While they aren't "top-tier" shoes/running shoes, they are definitely worth the money if you are looking for an upgrade
Comfort: 6.5/10
Style: 7/10 (looks best with black "no-shows")
Running: 6/10 (I expect these will become more comfortable as time goes on)
Arch: 6/10
Breathability: 8/10
Durability: 8/10 (can't really say, but from experience, these seem pretty well-made for regular "wear and tear")

Excellent support for about 4 months in the OR

Wore these for about 4 months in the OR, on my feet all day. The soles wore out but that's expected when you work 40-50 hours and you're on your feet all day. Asics is my preferred running shoe brand for work for the price range.

Nice shoe but runs small

I have had quick a few pairs of ASICS so I decided to order these on special.
They are OK, but really too snug. I was surprised at the fit on this shoe vs other pairs
I have in size 11. My dress shoe is more like a 10 or 10,5 but always order 11s for sneakers or
running shoes. Really realy snug fit, quite surprised, but I wlll keep them in hopes they strecth out a bit.

small fit but still comfortable

I got this on sale and 9d was only size left that was close to my size of 9E so I bought them hoping for the best. I lost in size but I did try them on and wear them for a day and even though they are too small for me they were still pretty comfortable so I think I'll order the right size which should be even more comfortable.

Size up

Following the other reviews I ordered my son the highest of his normal size range. That didn't work so I ordered another half size up (the largest paiir of shoes he's every owned). That was perfect. I hade a similar experience with asics for myself. I range between a 7- 8 in shoes. I ordered a 8.5 in asics and they fit right.
