I got this adapter so that I can plug my Silicon Power 64GB Blaze B30 USB 3.0 Swivel Flash Drive, Black (SP064GBUF3B30V1K) into my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet as the situation requires. I am happy to report that it works well with both devices. No problems plugging into either end, no problems with reading data ... just no problems.

It works, no issues at all, that's the important part.

I ordered this one for my Asus tablet, and one simultaneously for a little more but a domestic source, having forgotten that I already had one for my Nexus 7. This one shipped from China is identical to the domestic, so 30 cents vs 3 weeks you decide.

There is a slight difference from the adapter cable I already had so I can do a comparison of sorts, other than the fact that all three work interchangeably. This one is shorter by 5mm (.2 inches) mostly in the plastic connector on the USB end. Consequently a USB cable is a little looser when plugged in. Where the old one is solid and tight, this has a little play. Not enough that the cable is going to fall out, but enough to feel and loose enough that you can accidentally disconnect with a light tug.

Very easy to use and great to buy. Cheap and works well. I used this for my android tablet and it recognized my device really fast right away. I think the cord length is good enough for cell phones, but it hangs a few inches off the ground if you use it on a tablet depending where your USB port is located at. The micro USB fits and slides perfectly into my device as well as the regular 2.0 USB adapter side. You can use this with any device that uses a USB. It is quick and responsive. I would recommend this to anybody who need to connect any of their devices to a phone or tablet. Am a happy and satisfied customer.
