It's been many years since I smoked that "legislatively scorned vegetation!" But I DO smoke cigarettes now and then. I roll my own with American Spirit organic tobacco, from Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company. The pouches I buy include a pack of papers. And they're very good papers - pure flax papers with a vegetable gum.

But a friend gave me a few of these hemp papers to try.

They're much thinner than the flax paper included with my tobacco. As such, I cannot be sure if the improvement in flavor is due to the fact that there is just less paper, the paper itself tastes better, or a combination to these two factors.

In any case, they're great.

You WILL like these papers.

These are the best papers available, hands down. Slightly more slippery to roll than raws, but not as slippery as rice paper which I put second to hemp.
