We have had an Avalon for almost 3 years. A few weeks ago I found that my key fob no longer worked. I found out how to open it and got the battery type and ordered a set from Amazon. They arrived quickly. I installed the new one in my fob and it works just fine. About a week later my wife's fob failed. I installed new battery in hers also. Now I am looking forward to three more years of fob operation. In case you have one of these and the battery goes dead here is the procedure for starting your vehicle. Make sure all doors are closed. Touch fob logo side facing start button on the start button. You will hear a beep. Step on the brake and press start button within 5 seconds. Use the key inside the fob to lock/unlock doors. Oh yes the key inside the fob can be used to pry open the fob for battery installation. Do that carefully.

I ordered these batteries so I could replace the battery in my Polar heart rate monitor watch receiver. I tried each of them but the watch still didn't work. A couple of months later, when I had the time to do so, I took the watch to the authorized Polar repair center, which I happen to live near, because I assumed that there was something wrong with it, since neither "new" battery made the watch work. The repair center rep checked my watch and said the only thing wrong with it was the battery, which was almost dead. I would not recommend this seller.

Like other reviewers, I am suspicious of the quality of merchandise that does not come in the original package. Most batteries have a lot number and an expiration date on the package. Without the original package, there's no way to determine how long batteries have been on the shelf. Just as importantly, I don't trust merchants that advertise an item as having a factory package, then sending the item in generic packaging with a label that could have been printed on a home computer.

These batteries should last in my car key fob for 2 years with normal use. Unfortunately, even if it fails early, it could be 6 months before I find out and append this review. We'll see.

Batteries marked as Panasonic, but packaging leads me to be suspicious on their legitimacy. URL has been blacked out by hand on each individual package and there is also a typo in the warning message. But they work fine in my 2009 Rav4 remotes.

Shipped in a standard letter envelope (non-padded).

Ordered batteries as described and the batteries arrived on time. After using the batteries for a short period of time the batteries went dead. The we're new in a package but they were short lasting. I could have paid retail price and been better off. Just poor quality or old.

Received 4 new batteries, in packaging. True they arrived in a plain letter-sized envelope but, for the cost, I sure won't complain. I bought these (CR1632) to replace old batteries in our 2010 Toyota Prius keyless fobs, in part because we'd recently (this year) paid Toyota to replace failed batteries and the "new" officially installed Toyota batteries failed within months. I found directions for replacing the battery on the internet, followed the directions, and voila -- our keyless key works great. Plus we didn't have to pay Toyota $30. Win.

The package looks genuine Panasonic product, but the battery life is much shorter than expected.
A new battery for Toyota/Lexus smart key is supposed to last 1-2yrs,
but this battery last only 3-6 months. I had to use 3 of these batteries for one smart key in past 1 year.

While these are the correct battery, they come in a plastic bag with a sticker on it. The picture here shows retail packaging where you can ensure they are new and unused. They work but this is a bit disappointing. Amazon needs to change the picture to reflect the actual product.
