One thing I have always hated about sleeping bags is the fact that I feel so confined (especially in mummy bags). I bought one of these mammoth bags and it was by far the best bag I have ever used. My wife and I both fit in it and had plenty of room. The fact that both sides have two zippers (one along the side and one on the bottom) allowed each of us to hang our feet out at night if we got hot. I am a big Amazon fan but the bag on this site is expensive, I bought the same bag from Sportsmans warehouse for $50 cheaper, as an fyi.

I will amend this review after I actually take the bag out camping, but I can tell right now that the quality is topnotch. I have owned a couple of different, cheaper two-person bags in the past and have been disappointed in them. This one is great. The lining doesn't feel like it will "catch" on rough skin the way some others do... it feels like sheets. Very comfortable and very plush. Not QUITE the width of a queen-size bed but within a few inches. I wanted to treat myself to a really nice bag and I feel I got every penny's worth. I am 6'6" and can easily completely cover my head with it!

The only downside is the hilariously impossible bag it comes in. Very nice, very well made, and there is no way on Earth this thing will ever fit back in it once it's out, lol. I think they must pack them in a vacuum. You'll have to find another way of stowing it. I'm thinking velcro straps.

Amended to add: There is a video link below to a video that shows how to put the bag back in the sack. I hope you find it as hilarious as I do. I tried it, I'm a BIG guy and its HARD! Plus when you pull it out, it's an ugly bag of wrinkles. I ended up using flat bungees with caribeener ends so as not to rip the fabric, works great.

If I were just rating the bag I would have given it 5 Stars. However, after my first use I tried to put it away and I wanted to give it 1 star. After calming down I am giving the bag 5 stars and the case negative 1 star, hence the 4. I would love to see how TETON got it in there in the first place. I'm a large man and it took me nearly 20 minutes to get it in far enough to put away. As I don't want to be the guy that has a problem and no solution, try this. Click the link below, It is for a mesh sports equipment bag. I use one for rugby balls. It is sturdy and fits the bag easily and as it is mesh it allows some air in. I leave a drier sheet with the bag when I put it away. Just do not store the bag outside/in garage.

UPDATE: The bag just got more expensive!! We actually managed to get the bag back in the case, it only costs me lunch. I bet two friends they couldn't get it in the original bag! It took them 3 attempts and an hour, but I can confirm that it is possible to get it back in the original bag... Teton you owe me lunch...

Pros:
Sleeping bag is extremely comfortable, warm and well-made. Hubby and I ordered this and the available liner a month ago and have used it every weekend. I am 5'11", he is 6'3" tall and both muscular. We were glad to find it is large enough to fit us both comfortably and still have just enough room not to feel cramped. The stitched and materials are good quality and appear that they will last. The insulation material is extremely lofty. We really love the extra headroom with drawstring because it keeps our pillows in place!! The cell phone pockets sewn in at the top are also really great!

Cons:
The only problem we've had so far is the stuff sack. As soon as I pulled open the stuff sack I immediately thought "I swear they used a vacuum machine to get the sleeping bag into this!" I loosened all of the straps and strings but it took me quite a while to slowly wrestle the stuff sack down from around the sleeping bag. While the lofty stuffing makes for a super warm/comfy bag, it's really frustrating not to be able to use the stuff sack although we have tried several times!! Manufacturer needs to correct!

Excellent sleeping bag. Very comfortable and I like the extra room. The sleeping bag gets 5 stars, the undersized storage bag gets 1 star. I should have done my research because I am not the only one complaining about the storage bag.

Good luck putting it back in the provided stuff bag without watching the video from the TETON. How many sleeping bag manufactures do you know that have to post a video on how to get the bag back into the storage bag?

Yes, it can be put back in the supplied stuff sack. It is a wrestling match. I will be purchasing a larger stuff bag to use. I would have gladly paid a few extra dollars for a slightly larger storage bag on the initial purchase..

At our age, we are into comfort camping, and decided that we would go the price distance for a luxurious sleeping bag. We bought the zero degree version. This exceeded all our expectations, except one. There is no way on God’s green earth that we could get this monster back into it’s storage sack. It’s huge, and seriously has a mind of its own… no amount of muscle, huffing and puffing notwithstanding, would get it back in. This came as no surprise, based on other reviews, so we’re no withholding stars for that reason. We had an oversized Sterilite brand storage tub with a hinged, locking lid that we shoved it into, and that’s where we’ll keep it when not in use. A great purchase that hubs and I and the two terriers will enjoy for years to come.
