I got this with my Teddy bear hamster and so far it's nice. It works well, though I wish it was roomier, it will certainly work for now, until I can afford a multiple story cage.It says you can connect critter trail tubes to it, and there's an extra port on the top. It's perforated so I think you have to break it? Also, I'm not sure if Crowley [my hamster] can drink from the water bottle, I'm going to have to go grab him a better water bottle. I guess that's my only complaint.

This is a good cage for a dwarf hamster or even a baby Syrian. It's decent sized and pretty secure. My only complaints are the water bottle and wheel. The water bottle doesn't have a metal ball, instead you fill it up from the tip, put a metal cap on and hang it. My hamster Oda Nobunaga would chew on the tip and it would fall off, draining the water out. I had to get him a new water bottle or else he'd get dehydrated. The wheel is a little noisy, but I've gotten used to it. The problem is that it's only 5inches and too small for a grown hamster. Poor Oda can't even fit on it. I recommend getting another water bottle and a wheel if you have a full grown hamster.

Way bigger than I expected. It can fit two of my robo hamsters and there's more than enough room for them both. I like the smaller wheel compared to other habitats I've bought before. Had it for a couple of months and the wheel has started to sound loud and squeaky though. Overall, a pretty good buy.

We got one for mice, and it's worked quite well for adult mice. The two mice seemed to very much enjoy it during their time together, and it works quite well for one lone mouse. Both mice will climb the bars, though the boy currently residing in it isn't quite as into climbing as his mate was. They work well for the price. (The wheel does develop a squeak after a while, but it's still not as loud as the robos' wheel and this is normal for any wheel.)

This is an awesome cage! I've had hamsters my whole life, and I've had all kinds of cages (aquarium with top, Habitrail). This is probably my favorite one. It is so easy to assemble and clean, unlike the Habitrail cages with lots of pointy plastic pieces. The wheel that came with it seems a little small for our gerbil and he chewed up the food dish in a day, but those are easy to replace as needed. Overall, it's a great compact cage.

This cage sucks for hamsters. (That's porbably also true for gerbils and mice.) it's too small for hamsters to live in confortably. They can easily slip between the bars of the cage. The water bottle itself will drip and is too long for the cage. I would not recomend this cage at all. I got it as a travel cage/ play pen for cleaning his cage for my hamster. It's more trouble than it's worth.
