I ordered these for my boyfriend since we tend to go bowling a lot. For one they save him money because he no longer needs to rent shoes but also, he claims they fit perfectly and are even comfy too. The insides are very cushioned and the outside appearance is nice too, appearing almost like regular tennis shoes. Definitely recommend!

first confortable bowling shoes

These are by far the most comfortable bowling shoes I've ever owned. They may not be the best bowling shoes but for the price you will not find any better. They work, they're comfortable and they look great.

the rubber edge of the sole makes it sticky on ...

the rubber edge of the sole makes it sticky on the floor. you will have the probability to trip on the way when releasing the ball. you're suppose to slide, not trip. the pads should have been extended to the very edge. I will probably rack this up and get another brand with the features I'm looking for.

update: after several months of use, i kinda got used to these shoes. i only have to relearn steps when releasing the ball so that i don't trip. everybody has their style in playing bowl but i'm sure some will agree with me when i say, slide your feet. try not to lift it up too high or you'll mis-step and trip. i've seen other bowling shoes where the leather underneath is extended to the very edge of the front soles. i will not mention the brand name in respect to brunswick. this are good entry bowling shoes but there are better bowling shoes out there.

COOL BOWLING SHOES -- IF THAT IS POSSIBLE

This is a great bowling shoe. I went 40+ years between being a bowler and the alley shoes never fit right. The new shoes fit. They did not improve my game but they sure fit better. And they look very cool!

I bought these for my boyfriend after he let a friend borrow his bowling shoes, only to never see them again. We bowl often, so he needed a pair. These are great. Bowling shoes are not the coolest looking shoes made, so it was nice to find a pair with a little style. The orange and black look really sharp- he's a Bengals fan, so that's an extra bonus. These are great shoes and they've already seen plenty of action.

The rubber edge of the sole makes on the slide ...

The rubber edge of the sole makes on the slide foot is too prominent and doesn't allow for a slide. It makes your slide foot stick as you are trying to release which then caused me to fall forward almost falling down. You Can see the problem in the picture of the shoe, the slide pad should have been extended to the very front edge. I have already purchased another brand at the bowling ally so I can slide on my delivery. You Can see the problem in the picture of the shoe.

I had to replace an old pair of bowling shoes that had lasted for years and then sat unused for 12 years. When I started bowling again, the old pair split apart at the sole in the front. Mean, old man time, had finished off my dependable pair of bowling shoes once and for all. I ordered these shoes and they came just in time for the following week league night. I picked these out based on reviews and price. I was not sure if I was going to like them or not. I have been bowling with them 6 times so far and here are my observations and opinions about my purchase: Well made~true to size~comfortable, right out of the box~they look great~they work great, no complaints~great bang for the buck~I defiantly recommend these bowling shoes!
