The Dexter Ricky III shoes fit well and are very comfortable plus they look much better than the alley rentals.
Bought these for my boyfriend for our bowling league and they were true to size and they fit his 'style'
I have only used these shoes a few times, but they fit well and sizing is the same as any running shoe.

If you're considering buying a pair of bowling shoes (this brand or any other), you should ask yourself this: How much do you pay to rent your shoes at the alley?
$3? $4?
Buying a pair is a good idea even if you only bowl a few times a year.

I went with the Ricky III model in black/red and have been extremely happy with that decision. They look like regular street shoes. Almost the skateboarding style. They feel like street shoes, too. We've gone bowling for several hours and I've almost forgotten to take them off when it came time to leave. A friend of mine recently got a pair of Ricky III's in white. He shares the same sentiments about appearance and comfortability.

Dexter builds a good shoe. Good stitch, sturdy materials. I do believe the slip-pad wears away over time. Mine hasn't yet, but seasoned bowlers have warned me of this and said it's expected wear-and-tear. But Dexter sells replacement slip-pads, so I'll probably just go that route when I need to. I don't see the shoe itself falling apart.

So if you're in the market for bowling shoes I recommend you take these into serious consideration.
I've had my pair for a year and have no regrets with this purchase.

As a weekly bowler having to have to rent house bowling shoes $4 everytime, I could just have my own! Internet Bowling Warehouse lowered the price of this product to accommodate for $9.50 shipping and handling cost. I got my shoes in 1 week with Fedex tracking from NY to LA. For $35, I would have these shoes paid for in 9 weeks had I continued just renting shoes at my local bowling alley. The shoes came in mint condition with the shoe box within another box. The Ricky III are comfortable to play in and they look good. Sizes do run a big, so measure your feet and get that exact size and you will still have extra room in these shoes.

My husband and I joined a 10-week bowling league with our son and decided that it was well worth it to invest in our own bowling shoes rather than pay $4 each week for just one pair of rental shoes. After searching the local sporting goods stores and bowling alleys, to our dismay, we discovered that the local stores only carried bowling shoes on their websites and had a limited selection at that. The Pro Shop at bowling alleys have an even smaller selection and at almost double the price of what we found online. We ordered this pair at a very reasonable price (less than what we would have paid for renting one pair of shoes for 10 weeks) and got free shipping for our purchase.

I was nervous about ordering bowling shoes online having never done so before, but we ordered my husband's normal shoe size and the shoes fit just right. These shoes are stylish, true to size, and offer the same comfort you would get from your regular tennis shoes or sneakers. The stitching is clean and the felt pads on the bottom will give you the slide you need. Dexter is also one of the top brands of bowling shoes so quality comes without question. Overall, I would recommend these shoes, especially if you don't want to break the bank.

I bought these for my husband since they never have his size when we go bowling. He usually wears a size 15 but because other reviewers mentioned these run large we sized down and went with a 14 regular width (he is usually wide but wide was not PRIME and I needed these right away) and they fit great and are comfortable. I can't say how they will hold up yet but they look very well made and should be fine. Very satisfied.

Very nice shoes @ a fair and reasonable cost. Both spouse and I purchase same shoes. After trying on the shoes @ the pro shop ~ spouse needed a different size that originally intended. She purchased her shoes at the pro shop for $16 more. Since I knew my size.. Amazon provided mine at a cost savings.

Great pair of bowling shoes, true to size as well.
I bought a pair for my father who I just started bowling with and he likes them a lot.
They will pay themselves in about 8 trips to our local bowling alley.

Almost as good as a a nike a little firmer than an AIr Monarch. The felt gets dirty pretty quick, I wished they would have included some spray to clean it. I also wish the push off shoe did not have felt. I may attach some tape to that side.. Not to narrow. Works well for amateur bowling 34 weeks @ $1 shoe rental almost pays for them and I don't have to worry about someone elses stinky feet in my shoes!

Bought these for my son, his second pair (outgrew the first pair). He likes them very much. I am not a bowler so can't tell you much about them but my son carries close to a 200 average. He says they work well.
