These seems to be great shoes - look good, velcro & fit adjustment is good. However, they run small. These in a 3-1/2, these are only slightly (<1/8") larger than an Asics (Matflex GS 3) or Adidas (Extero II K) 2-1/2. (My kid has both of these in a 2-1/2 & needed a bigger size)

We got these for our 5 year old that wanted to try wrestling this year and he loves them. They are very good quality and look good. After reading the reviews, I saw they fit a little small. He wears a size 12 currently and we got him the 1.5. They fit him just a little big, but I wouldn't get the next size down. They may or may not work for next year, too.

My son has been wrestling for 3 seasons now. I bought these for him since his old matflexes got small. He liked them cos they were velcro. First, the velcro doesnt last Second, they actually ripped Third, they fit very all. Lastly, he has no grip on the mat with these shoes. So please purchase with caution

Easy for a 7 year old to get on and off by himself. Durable and heavy duty. Your child will out grow before the shoe wears out. Second pair I have purchased only due to my son outgrowing the first pair which I sold to a friend and her son still has them and loves them too. Great shoe excellent quality.

My son typically wears a 13. Due to the reviews we purchased these wrestling shoes at a size 1.5. They fit him perfectly, a little big so he can wear them a while but not too big where they flop or are uncomfortable for him. We both love that he can velcro them on tight enough and don't have to worry about laces.
