Plaid Paint-By-Number sets are nicely detailed, looks like "REAL" paintings when complete, are are relatively easy to pain, IF you have the patience. My wife loves them. One of the nice things about the Plaid sets is that there is no paint mixing or blending required, as in other brands. All required paint colors are included in the Plaid products.

I feel when I finish this paint by number, it will be beautiful! But, it has many, many tiny places to paint! Personally I am painting it using a magnifying glass. This is not for a beginner, but if you take your time and are careful you will probably have a beautiful painting to be proud of!

This was a cool picture to paint. Much history here. This kit arrived quickly and in good packaging. The paints were the best I have ever used. They were smooth and you didn't have to mix any water with them. Usually I double coat each number., No need with these paints. Also no blending of colors. Have to start ordering more kits from Plaid.

I buy these for my wife. They are nicely detailed, look like "REAL" paintings when complete, are are relatively easy to paint. (provided, of course, that you have the patience... I do not!) One of the nice things about the Plaid sets is that there is no paint mixing required. If the painting requires 25 different colors, then Plaid includes 25 individual paints. We have tried several other brands, but noting seems to compare with the Plaid Paint-By-Number sets.

I am enjoying this project. It is very detailed, but comes with a practice paper sheet of the same picture to practice on prior to starting the main picture. Only suggestion I have would be to include two paint brushes, one that is alot smaller and finer in size.

This painting by Norman Rockwell is a great painting to do. It takes a lot of patience and a steady hand to complete all of the straight lines involved in the painting. Colors are great and easy to use no mixing involved. Plaid is a great company and I only buy Plaid Paint By Numbers because they are easy to use. A lot of fun doing this one, I completed two of them already.

My sister loves the Paintings by Plaid. For one reason they turn out pretty good. They don't look like cheap crap. The other reason is you don't have to mix the paint colors. They are already mixed. So the painting goes a little faster with less mess.

I can't wait till she finishes it ....because I am sure....she will give it to me. I probably have 50 pictures hung or laying around my house that she gave to me, but I bought her this one. This way I get one that I actually like.

Oh well, what the heck. The painting keeps her busy and at least for now, she gave up knitting. I have no room in my house for any more sweaters.

I was ecstatic to see it as a paint by number -- a pastime from when i was a child and am enjoying again! I was very pleased with the canvas, the paints, everything.
