Okay, I love a good pair of socks. I've tried ordering some fancy micro-fiber sets off EBay. I've gone the value pack at Wall-Mart. Always to be disappointed. I'm not trying to spend $10-$20 a pair, (though at the rate I've ordered good "bargains" that ultimately, I never wear, I could have bought a few pretty pricey socks that I do wear) but I digress.

I'm not going to examine the thread-count, or list the pros & cons because ultimately, they're a $6 a pair and you shouldn't need a book written about them. Here's the gist:

They look really good. Stylish, alt materials that separates them from normal cotton bargain bin socks.

They form to your foot well even with the wide 6-12 size range. (I'm 11.5 Mens)They seem to stay in place, unlike other ankle socks I've had in the past. They don't slip under your heal or run so large that they're overly exposed above the shoe line.

They breath perfectly. I never find my feet too hot or too cold. I would prefer my feet being cool then to being hot and sticky, so if anything these lean towards being very breathable and perhaps cool for some (not me).

I've only had them for a few weeks, so I can't speak to their durability or anything just yet but, I just ordered 4 more pairs. These will be getting heavy rotation from now on. Love them! As much as you can love a pair of socks.

Hope you enjoy them as much as me.

I ordered these in a Medium says which says it ranges from 6-12 mens. I wear a 9 (sometimes an 8.5) in most all shoes, so I should be right in the middle of this range. However, these seem quite a bit too big for a comfortable athletic fit during running or other exercises. I may have needed a small, but I don't know. Perhaps they try to include too large of a range in one size....6-12 covers most men, how many men actually have foot smaller than size 6??? They should maybe range from 9-12 for medium and small should be 6-9.

Another note is that the 3 bands/stripes on the underside of the foot cause some discomfort. I have gotten used to it after a while, but it feels a little strange at first. I'm not sure they really serve much of a purpose, but they certainly are thicker in those areas than the yellow parts. I didn't realize that the stripes were thicker when I ordered them.

I bought these primarily because I am living in very warm and humid climate for the next 12 months and it's nearly impossible to keep my feet comfortably cool wearing closed-toed shoes. Unfortunately, these socks are relatively thick so the overheat problem continues. I've found other socks advertised as "cool" that are much thinner material and seem to breath considerably better. Additionally, the socks were advertised as suitable for shoe sizes 6-12 ( I wear a size 9 shoe) and they are way over-sized. The result is that I have this unsightly "baggy" excess sock material hanging out the top of my shoe at the heel. I believe it is impacting my ability to date.

Be careful when you order because Amazon has both Climacool (poly/COTTON/nylon/spandex) and Climalite (acrylic/poly/latex/spandex) socks listed together under the Climacool name as though they are simply different colors of the same socks. The name changes after you add them to your cart, but I missed that. Very misleading. I washed and wore the ones I bought before realizing they seemed suspiciously cotton-free and sure enough, they are not what I wanted.

I purchased two different colors of this sock. Graphite, and the Dark Onix. The Graphite are huge.....I mean really huge. I wear a size 9, and these socks would fit a person with a size 14 foot.

The Dark Onix on the other hand, fit just about perfectly. They "could be" 1/4" smaller, but they are much, much better than the Graphite. Whoever is in charge of quality control/packaging labels at Adidas should be fired.

There isn't a whole lot to complain about these socks, however, they're definitely not the best ones I've ever owned - then again, they're not really intended to be. The fit is as you would expect, and they keep your feet sufficiently dry when worn in moderation. Decent product, though perhaps not as high-end as their price might imply. Overall, I would recommend these to others to purchase, but maybe only if they're on sale, as there are better quality socks out there for the price I paid for these.

I like the Adidas Climacool II better than Under Armour and Nike socks that I own. They are well cushioned, but thin and very breathable and comfortable. These are not thick like traditional athletic socks and will not bunch up and cause blisters. When they say No Show, remember that there are just visible at the tip of your sneaker, much less visible than ankle high. These are not "no show" type peds that you would wear with boat shoes or slip on sneakers, etc., and they are not intended to me. These are athletic No Show socks.

The material is great. The fit leaves something to be desired.

Personally, when I wear socks with a different color heel I want them to fit correctly. I never want the heel of the sock to be showing past my achilles and over the back of my shoe.
I wear a 10.5 size shoe. The sock size is 6-12, so I thought that I wouldn't have an issue with sizing. Wrong. When I pull the sock tight, the heel of the sock is about halfway past my shoe. With this sizing, the socks aren't "no show".
