I love the GPS unit itself. The simplicity of the one touch yardage to green is great. The watch, however, does not work well with the unit. The clip that holds the GolfBuddy onto your visor or shirt, also clips onto the watch. For this reason, it sits up just a little too high off the wrist, and makes it feel cumbersome. So, I will be ordering the Golf Buddy VT3, which seems to have a lower profile and uses a different method of attaching to the strap.

Fits the GolfBuddy GPS Rangefinder perfectly as it should. One issue I have is that there is only one size band so if you have smaller wrists you are bound to have a lot of extra strap to deal with. Also, you have to take in to consideration how big the rangefinder will be when it is on your wrist. If you were to place the rangefinder on your wrist alone, with the strap it will be slightly higher as it clips into the wristband using the built in clip of the rangefinder. After inserting the rangefinder into the band and placing it on my wrist it was quite large. While it works and is convenient I think a better option would be to somehow keep it on a belt loop. If you have smaller wrists I would take into consideration how large it will be on your wrist.

I had the golf buddy for a season before I saw that it could become a watch. That was a perfect solution as I worried all the time that I would loose it or was always pulling it our of my pocket to use it. Now it is on my wrist and it is great! I just look to my wrist for the distance then pick my club . I do have thin wrists so I am using the last hole on the strap so the small was the right size for me. I think it also would be fine for a person with thicker wrists.

This rangefinder consistently loses track of a specific hole on one of the courses I frequently play. I always have to shut it off and recalibrate which takes a few minutes. Also, I have compared it's reading with that of other players in my group and it never agrees exactly with their reading which seems to be slightly more accurate based on the course card.
As an very amature golfer this device is just O.K., and I am not recommending it to friends.

I normally clip my GolfBuddy to my belt but have had it pop off several times, the last time I was unable to find it. Fortunately an honest individual found it and the pro shop called me to come get it. I did not want to chance fate so I bought the wristband and it works just fine. It is comfortable and makes the GolfBuddy controls easy to access as well as to read the screen.

The Golf Buddy wristband feels nice as it has a very rubbery feel. That said, the golf buddy sit up very high on the wrist as the golf buddy actually clips into the band. It holds the Gold Buddy well but would work better if they could figure out a way to make it a little slimmer.

I enjoy wearing the wristband setup, although it is a bit bulky in total, and I will probably wind up with a tan line in the summer. However, I have a problem with the rangefinder itself in that the charge doesn't last an entire two rounds like my traditional Golf Buddy did.
