As a runner, and one with big thighs and some loose skin from significant weight loss, these are a must-have for me. The longer inseam helps put my thighs in check and prevent chafing to keep me comfy (and look great while doing it). I know they're more expensive than other brands but these are the only ones that either fit like a second skin all over and stand up to a lot of use.

Purchased these to match my daughter's volleyball team uniform. The volleyball club only offered the Nike 3" Pro and all of the girls butts hang out the bottom--not a look I am willing to let my 13 yr old wear, nor does she want to wear. I was excited to find that Nike offered these in a 5"; however, as soon as I pulled them out of the package I could tell that the inseam was shorter than I expected. As you can see from the attached photos these fail to meet the 5" claim. Regardless, of the misleading inseam measurement these cover my daughters butt, with no cheek slippage while she plays, so they are a satisfactory substitute in both of our opinions.
After a season of wear (Dec.- May) and washing (hand wash cycle inside out, in a delicates bag, and line dry) we have had no issue with seams ripping or coming unstitched. However, the Nike swoosh silk screen on the leg has cracked and began to peal and just looks terrible.
For both of the reasons stated above we decided that a four star rating seems fair.
