This kit comes with three sets of instructions. They conflict!
The bacteria test vial, the leaflet, and the cardboard insert each have instructions for completing the bacteria culture test. Unfortunately, the cardboard insert has instructions that will lead to a false negative in the case of actual contamination!
Leaflet and vial instructions state that a purple fluid after 48 hours indicates a negative result, and yellow fluid indicates a positive result.
Cardboard insert states that a yellow fluid indicates a NEGATIVE result, and a blue/green fluid indicates a positive result. This is incorrect!
Be sure to read the instructions on the test vial itself.
