I purchased this product because I thought it would be convenient to have on hand. I live alone. Each package makes six nice sized biscuits. Water is the only ingredient to add. What can be more simple? I found I did need to add a little more water, but it may be because I live at a higher altitude. The biscuits are light and taste great. They do not even require butter, honey, or preserves. They taste perfect all by themselves. These are a nice accompaniment to a hot bowl of soup on a cold winter's night.

WE hadn't been able to find these biscuits anywhere----just disappeared from the shelves----but recently got some from Amazon & they're fluffy inside and crunchy outside, just like we like 'em! We don't eat them that often, but when we DO, we want the best. Thank you "Amazon.com"! ---- P.S. For anyone who doesn't choose to bake 6 biscuits (what the package makes) at a time, you can bake all six about half-way, then freeze and pull one or more out and bake them in a toaster oven/reg' oven until acceptably browned and they'll be nice & hot and taste great!

I buy a case of this every year online. Can't get it in the store--not sure why, though I've requested it many times. It's easy to prepare, all you need is water, and comes in handy envelopes instead of one big box. Supposedly, each envelope makes 6 biscuits; however, I like large biscuits and get only 4. It comes out light and fluffy with bits of honey melting throughout. Absolutely delicious, pure heaven! Great to keep in your emergency pantry, if you can refrain from using it. I sometimes give a couple of envelopes to my friends as gifts for the holidays. I've yet to hear anything negative from them. They all rave about it. Buy it by the case--just a couple of envelopes won't be enough! You'll find different size cases available. Start with the smallest if you're unsure, but you will want more, I'm sure. By the way, ignore the expiration date. I've kept them as long as a year after the date and they were just fine.

These packets are convenient and easy, a couple of spoons, 1/2 cup water mix and your are ready to go. The honey butter taste is subtle, I usually like butter and jam on my biscuits but did not need any to supplement the flavor.

I have used boxed bisquick for years, for whatever reason, these packets mix easier and are moister than using the standard bisquick recipie.

My husband never cared much for my homemade biscuits. I didn't make them often enough to really get it right like my mother and grandmother used to do. Then I tried the Betty Crocker Bisquick Mix and WOW what a difference it made. We like the rolled method better than the drop, but either way these are easy, quick and consistently great biscuits. As good a true southern biscuit as even my grandmother used to make! My husband is now a very happy man when I make his favorite sausage gravy & biscuits breakfast.
