I've been drawing for fun as a digital hobbyist in an online art community using my old trusty Graphire4 4x5 that's been standing for almost six years. This tablet piqued my interest after seeing a post on Tumblr so did some quick research on their products here and there, then I settled on buying this tablet. It was really light compare to my previous tablet, sleek and slim as well. It has 26 Function Keys (yes, you heard me: TWENTY-SIX) and 16 Express Keys on the side that you can set it up anyway you like to. Installation on my Windows XP was smooth and not a problem but this is optional: If you have Malwarebytes installed and running on the background, I suggest you un-check the "Filesystem Protection" as that will slow your tracking down (happened to me but got it working after that). Worked the tablet on Photoshop CS2 and Paint Tool SAI, no lagging, hiccups or anything; it was smooth, quick and precise for a 2048-pressured pen.

The pen is battery-operated by AAA but you can ask for the seller to provide one for you (like I did) and there is no eraser tip on this one as the top of this pen is a switch that you can click on and off for each use. To some it feels like a cheap pen but I'm getting the hang of using this after two or three days. The pen holder inside when you take off the lower cap has four spare tips and a circular tweezer to remove and replace your worn-out tips, my tip started to worn out in maybe a week since I don't press it hard much.

Overall, I recommend this to anyone for people whose budget are limited but do your research as well on looking for a tablet that's suited to you. :)

This is the first graphic tablet that I have ever used and I love it.
this tablet has made my drawing software so much more easer to work with and I
only got it on Tuesday, right after the package came in the I opened it downloaded the
tablet software and instantly I was able to start drawing using my own graphic software.
this tablet is really nice with a sleek design and smooth surface it's comfortable and easy store
and use, I found that Huion tablets are also good for when your on the go I take mine every ware
I go since my major is animation I do a lot of digital drawing as well as traditional 2d art work.
I highly recommend these tablets for any artist who is looking for good quality graphic tablet at
an affordable price.

This is my early review, I hope I can change it in the next few days. I am on Macbook Pro, Mac OS 10.10.5.
I first attempted to download the driver from the Huion website at the recommendation of most of the reviews. On the Huion website, I selected my tablet, then selected the Mac version of the driver, and "download". This brings you to a Microsoft Onedrive page, where you have to sign in or create an account.
Next step is to select "download" again. This brings you to a page that states: "This item might not exist, or is no longer available".
So, I tried the driver on the CD. The instructions on the Mac specific directions will advise that once you plug in the tablet, you will see a tablet icon. I did not. After receiving email response from Huion customer service, they advised that this is only the case with Windows, so do not expect to see any icon in Mac. With the CD driver installed the computer does not recognize the tablet at all. I am currently waiting on a response from Huion regarding the inability to download a driver from their website. To say that set up is frustrating and time consuming is an understatement. Each time you contact customer service you are waiting until the next day for a response, as their hours are PST 3:30PM - 4:00 AM.
UPDATE: After three emails and four days of low productivity, I am returning this item. Either the driver is not functional with Mac OS 10.10.5, or the tablet or pen are defective. At this point Huion customer service is requesting serial number, order number, and a video of what is happening with the tablet. Really? There is nothing to video, nothing is happening, there is no communication between the tablet and my computer. I am very disappointed because I really needed a more affordable option than Wacom. if you are on Mac with Yosemite, save yourself the aggravation, this won't work.

Alright so the company I originally ordered a Turcom tablet for sent me this instead. It works great with Windows 8.1, I couldn't have asked for a better tablet! It's pressure sensitive, you don't have to set anything up after you install it, you just plug it in and start using it! No need to change any settings!

at the price- so amazing to have a graphics tablet when you've been used to using a mouse to try to draw things. once you get it installed .. it works like a champ... & until it doesnt.

When it stops working, blame the pen. There's a thing where the rotation of the tip of the pen gets slightly off and needs to be readjusted. you have to open the pen up and trial and error it.. ***only millimeters back and forth- don't break the little copper wire. **

better yet- just buy a backup pen.

at this price i expect things to need a little tweaking.. so 4 stars.

I purchased this as a birthday present for our daughter, who uses a Windows 8.1 PC. The graphics tablet gets used almost daily to create drawings and animations using programs like gimp and Scratch. I asked her if there was anything about the graphics tablet that she would change, if she could, and she said no. I asked her if she would want another graphics tablet if this one broke, and she insisted that she would absolutely want another tablet, of this exact same kind. I am not sure how much of her devotion is due to the quality of the Huion USB 26 Function Keys Graphics Tablet and how much of her devotion is attributable to the exuberance of youth, but I am very pleased with this purchase.
