My dog is a 65-pound Australian shepherd who loves his stuffed animals. If they squeak or make any kind of noise, they are cherished. He loves to play tug with them, and he loves to fetch and play keep away. This dragon is his favorite of all of his toys. I love it because it lasts longer than others. It's very durable. Even when he eventually wears away the outer skin, the black chew guard material remains in place and keeps the stuffing intact. I also love that the stuffing is clean -- not lots of cotton, but a simple plastic bag with a squeaker. Eventually all of the stuffed toys become too ratty to keep, and when this one wears out or when he eventually breaks through the guard, at least I don't have a big mess to clean and don't have to worry about him swallowing any cotton. I've been impressed with the length of time this one lasts -- I think 8 months is our new record, and it's still in good shape. My dog loves to sleep with his dragon, which makes it extra sweet. Any time one wears out, it gets replaced with an exact duplicate for this reason. I can't recommend this toy high enough. Unless you have a dog that really does a number on stuffed toys, you should at least try this one. It's a good investment. I'm going to attach a photo of my dog sleeping with his dragon and you can see why I love it.

My boyfriend and I have a seven year old rescued pit bull mix who was notorious for destroying plush toys. But he loves his toys so much, we just keep buying him more! On a whim, we bought baby dragon at PetSmart and we were shocked that it took him nearly two months to open it up! And baby dragon quickly became his best friend. He picks him up to prance around with him every time someone comes home, he sleeps with him at night, and he loves flinging him around to play. We were so thrilled with the quality, we ended up buying three more baby dragons! A year later, he has gone through a total of three (but he still has all of them to play with, they are just shells of their former self!) and we have one more on reserve. I'm back to buy three more! While he is able to get them open and rip out stuffing, this toy has lasted hundreds of times longer than any other! I will buy these for the rest of his life. My biggest fear is that they will be discontinued, but I really hope they stick around for a while!
