This is a great product only if you have KNOB door handles. This does NOT work for LEVER handles as the elastic band will not stretch enough to reach around the other handle. Had to return it for that reason alone, but when I tested the sound and functionality by holding it myself, it would have worked great.

We live in an older house and the doors do not close without effort and noise. These closers have saved everyone's sleep. No one, from grandma, to the baby and toddler are disturbed when others get up and down through the night to use bathroom or check on a young one. They fit perfectly and secure the door completely shut without making a sound. They also help on the doors that don't close at all. I bought one for every bedroom door.

This is a well constructed product. The items I ordered were supposed to be plain white according to the product listing. The items I received have a pattern of white polka dots on a white background. The design is nice but it is different than I was expecting. Also, we have French door handles instead of a standard door knob and I was happy to see that I could stretch the elastic just far enough to reach over the long handle. I would but this product again.

I expected this to silence doors but still shut them. It leaves about a 2 inch gap and because we have a dog that pushes on doors to open them, this is a problem. If your ok with the door being slightly open all the time then I would say your good to get this.

This door cushion works well for what I needed; something that prevents the door from slamming shut when the window is open in the nursery and a breeze comes along.

However, from the picture, it looks a bit thinner than it is when I received it, and it leaves about a 2 inch opening in the doorway when the door is closed as much as possible. This is not an issue for me now, but I can see how I would want something else a bit less bulky so that I can shut the door more completely if there is some noise in the rest of the house.

This is a very simple design, which I was attracted to, but it looks great!

We picked up two of these for our house to solve several annoying problems. For the baby's room, we put one on the door to avoid unintentionally waking him up with door noises. For our room, we put one on because our cats' safe place is inside, so they can't be shut out. Also the air pressure differences in the house would make the door flap against the frame and it was driving me bonkers. The Cushy Closer solved all of these issues and looks nice too. FWIW our door knobs are lever style - not round knobs - and the elastic fit over them fine (contrary to what some reviewers said.)
