I recently moved and had my accent walls painted lavender. My for summer and fall I have a multi pastel quilt and my sister bought me a beautiful lavender comforter set for the upcoming winter. While looking for a rod for my curtains ( I am using a decorative topper over wood blinds) I found this rod and liked the colors and in spite of the indication that this rod was for kids rooms, I really felt that it would work and it did.

This rod is well made and looks great. I would recommend it if you like a departure from the plain curtain rods.

Very cute rod, I purchased because it matched the room colors perfectly. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to tighten where the two rods attach, and also no good way to tighten the rod inside the brackets at either end. Consequently, when the curtain is opened the rods often come apart and crash down. I've slowed this down by wedging a small piece of eraser behind one of the brackets, so now the rods come apart only once a week instead of daily. But really?

Giving it 2 stars because it looks quite nice, but the screws that holds the bars are made to be hand-tightened only (no hole or profile for any driver or key) and even using pliers I could not get it tight enough where the pole doesn't because loose and start sliding. Have to retightened periodically - a pain.

cute product, one of the balls was shattered when it arrived. So we ordered a free replacement... Took another week to get here. And the 2nd one is also broken!! Needs better packaging or something. Pretty disappointing when we are trying to complete our son's room before our 3rd baby is born :(.

These curtain rods are nice and sturdy. They arrived in time without incident. The colors are really pretty, even more vibrant than in the photos. My kids like them a lot.
The only disappointment was that the screws that were included to mount them weren't the right size. No matter, we had some that did fit and used those instead. All in all a good purchase.

This rod looks really nice is very strong so will hold up any curtains. They have a slightly shiny, polished finish and look very classy. I bought them with the matching pull backs and they add a nice splash of character to my boys' room. They are not too "babyish" looking so I won't have to replace them when they get older. I use them with blackout shades which are slightly heavier than normal shades but they are very sturdy and have no problem supporting those shades.

***UPDATE 11/11/15. Lowering my rating from 5 stars to 2. One of the balls was removed from the end of the rod and I cannot put it back on. It's very likely my son unscrewed it but now the screw is stuck inside the ball so I can't screw it back on to the end of the rod. I'm going to try gluing it back but I believe this is a design flaw. The screw should not be able to fall into the ball. You should be able to just screw it back onto the rod.
