This is a very durable non-slip tape. Easy to work with. Stays in place indoors and out, and there is none of that gritty feeling. Just a reliable texture that (becauss it's clear) blends in quite well with surfaces. We have applied it to wood, concrete, and metal steps.

We have carpeted stairs that were very slippery. I tried this anti-slip tape. Works great, holds very good, my kids feel much safer now. We have medium hair carpet, no problem during vacuuming, holds great, looks great. Even this product is not primary to use on carpeted stairs, it can be quick and easy solution. I do not expect it to last lifetime but what I see it will be working for many months at least. It is 60 feet long, so you have enough for 2 flight of stairs. It seems that more you walk on it better it holds ;o))

This stuff is incredible. We have beautiful hardwood stairs that are horrifically slippery in stocking feet, and the tape solved that. I also have cataracts and other vision problems and had had trouble differentiating the wood-grain steps; the pebbled surface of the tape provides just enough contrast for me to see each step. I am no longer terrified to go down the stairs! It sticks really well, but also peels up without damaging the wood.

I was looking for something to put on my acrylic quilting rulers to keep them from slipping on fabric. I tried the clear sheets made just for rulers and was disappointed. I try to be creative in finding "dual use" for something not typically used for what that thing is designed for. Looking on Amazon for non slip anything, I looked close at this clear traction tape. Good cow! What a great purchase! Perfect perfect perfect solution for a slipping ruler. Only cut I made was to sever the length I needed from the roll. Stuck it on the wrong side of the ruler. All the measurements are completely visible and it is REALLY stuck! I AM THRILLED....Superior non-traditional use for Safe Way Traction tape 1" clear .
